An ungodly soul tie is any soul tie that has been established outside the will of God. A soul tie is a supernatural bond between people or an organization. There are several ways to create a soul tie. One way is to have a close relationship with another person or make a covenant or agreement with them. As in the case of King David and Jonathan, Jonathan swore to be David's blood brother, and sealed the pact by giving him his robe, sword, bow, and belt. King David and Jonathan bond is an example of godly soul tie.
Having sexual relations with another person will establish a soul and spiritual tie or bond. In a perfect world, God's world, one man and one woman would be united forever. They would have sexual intercourse only after they were married. Both people would be virgins and a blood covenant would be created by the tearing of the lady's hymen. The blood covenant would be established between the two people on their wedding night. God would knit the two people together creating a bond that would last a lifetime. The offspring from that union would be blessed. Divorce would never be an option because the two are one. Both parties would know that if their marriage failed their would not be another one. The soul and spiritual tie that was created in the union would allow the two people to grow together, nurturing and loving one another. In Malachi 2:14, because the Lord hath been witness between thee and the wife of thy youth, against whom thou hast dealt treacherously; yet (is) she thy companion, and the wife of thy covenant. And did not he make one? Yet had he the residue of the spirit. And wherefore one? That he might seek a godly seed. Therefore take heed to your spirit, and let none deal treacherously against the wife of his youth. When the two are made one, there is a residue of the spirit, part of the person's spirit remains with their mate.
Because most of us have had more than one sexual partner we need to free ourselves from the soul tie or bond that was created. God wants every part of us, because if he has all of us, God will defend and protect what is his. Any part of us that isn't given to God leaves an opening for sin and evil to enter. An ungodly soul tie creates an opening in our armor. We have to overcome our own soul's wickedness. We don't need to fight off the wickedness from a soul tie in our past. We desire to live holy lives devoted to Lord Jesus and His kingdom, but these soul ties keep drawing us into our past and sin.
It has been said you will always remember your first. This is because there was blood covenant created with your first. And if your first isn't your spouse then you need to break the blood covenant that was formed with your first.
Steps to Breaking a blood covenant, spiritual and soul bond:
1.) Repent - stop the sinning - and ask God to forgive you of fornication and/or adultery.
2.) Forgive everyone in your life including yourself, because if you don't forgive others, God will not forgive you.
3.) Ask God to break the soul and spiritual tie between you and the person you were involved with. Ask God to put forgiveness in the other person heart for you.
4.) Forgive yourself, if you are having a hard time with this one, ask God to put forgiveness in your heart for yourself.
5.) Throw out, sell, or give away any item from the former union, destroy any pictures or letters from the person.
6.) Command any demon or evil spirit that entered you because of the union to leave in Jesus name, especially fornication and adultery.
7.) Ask God to restore your soul and spirit so that you can wholly worship and serve him.
Sample prayer: Dear God Almighty, I come to you in the name of Jesus and I humble ask your forgiveness for the sin of fornication with _________. Heavenly Father I choose to forgive everyone who has hurt me or someone I know and I seek your forgiveness. I repent of the sin and I ask you to break any soul tie, spiritual tie or blood covenant that was created because of the union. I cover myself with the blood of Jesus and command any unclean evil spirit to leave me now in Jesus name and never return. I place the blood of Jesus between me and the evil spirit and command the evil spirit of fornication and adultery to leave now in Jesus name. I command every part of _______ soul and spirit to leave me and go back to them, in Jesus name. Dear God Almighty please restore my soul and spirit as if I never sinned.
Sample prayer to release yourself from any vow or dedication: Dear God Almighty, I humbly come before you in Jesus name and ask that you release me from any vow or dedication made by me or on my behave by my ancestors. Heavenly Father, I dedicate myself to you and Lord Jesus Christ. I plead the blood of Jesus upon my entire being and ask you to wash away anything that is not of you. I desire to serve you only. I ask for a flesh infilling of your precious Holy Spirit in Jesus name.
