At one
point in your life you said a prayer like the following:
Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus, I present myself to you.
I pray and ask Jesus to be Lord over my life.
I believe it in my heart, so I say it with my mouth: "Jesus is the Son of
the Most High God and has been raised from the dead by the power of Almighty
God." This moment, I make Him the Lord over my life. Forgive me by your grace
for all the sins that I have committed.
Wash me with the Blood of Jesus, and I shall be clean.
Jesus, come into my heart and life.
I believe this moment that I am saved, I say it now: "I am reborn.
I am a Christian. I am a
child of Almighty God. I ask you
Almighty God to make this rebirth real to me and give me a love of your word."
You gave
your life to Lord Jesus for the same reason I did, you knew you where a sinner
destined for hell. The eyes of your
understanding were opened and you knew that this life was not your main goal but
only a means given to you to enter the next life – Heaven or Hell. You have left
a life that was focused on “self” and entered into a life focused on God
Almighty. Part of your heart was
empty until you met Jesus Christ, nothing could fill that void except the love
of Almighty God the Father and Lord Jesus.
You can have a great family, a wonderful job; everything the world would
say is successful. Yet you felt something was missing, an inner knowing that
there is more to life than acquiring goods and leaving an inheritance to your
children.
Origin of
Sin
God created man in His own image; in the image of
God He created him; male and female He created them (Genesis 1:27).
Then God saw everything that He made, and indeed it was very good...(Genesis
1:31). In the beginning, Adam lived
in fellowship with Almighty God the Creator; he walked with God, in God's
wisdom, righteousness, and resources. Adam was God-conscious. God made Adam’s
world perfect. God is a good God and
everything He created was good. God
gave control of the earth to man.
Then God blessed them, and God said to
them, “Be fruitful and multiply; fill
the earth and subdue it; have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds
of the air, and over every living thing that moves on the earth. (Genesis 1:28)
God commanded man, but of the tree of knowledge
of good and evil you shall not eat, for in the day that you eat of it you shall
surely die."
(Genesis 2:17) Adam and Eve
partook of the tree of knowledge of good and evil.
They fell from being God-conscious into being self-conscious,
"I was afraid because I was naked; and I
hid myself. (Genesis 3:10) Adam and Eve died spiritually; this death was a spiritual
separation from God. Adam and Eve placed their desires above God and His
commandment and made themselves into their own god.
Mankind now
knew evil because the door to evil had been opened.
Satan started to destroy mankind by appealing to the self in all of us.
Almighty
God is all light and in Him there is no darkness.
God is a good God. He doesn’t want you to perish.
You are accepted into His family because you have made Jesus Christ, Lord
of your life. The definition of Lord is one who has dominion over others: a
master, chief, or ruler. Jesus will begin to change your life. He loves you
dearly and did everything to save you from Hell. Jesus came down to the earth,
to be born of flesh and suffer great pain of being whipped, beaten and crucified
on a cross.
Our
righteousness comes from Jesus and His sacrifice on the cross.
It is a great covenant, a never-ending promise of Almighty God;
everything is based on Jesus and His work, not our own work.
You are child of God constantly changing until you become a mature
Christian. The work of Jesus is completed and salvation is based on Him and your
faith in His work on the cross.
Glory to God, we have salvation by faith, accepting Jesus into our lives. The
Holy Spirit will change you, as you let go of the old nature, which we inherited
from the Adam because he partook of the fruit from the tree of knowledge of good
and evil, and as you actively pursue the divine nature we inherited from Jesus
Christ because of the new birth. The new nature will become dominate in your
life. Jesus is always merciful never
lose hope in His mercy.
For God so loved the world that he gave His only
begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have
everlasting life. For God did not
send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him
might be saved. "He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not
believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the
only begotten Son of God. And this is the condemnation, that the light has come
into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds
were evil. For everyone practicing evil hates the light and does not come to the
light, lest his deeds should be exposed. (John 3:16-20) I believe that Jesus will change your
life, from hate to love, from fear to faith, from worry to trust in Jesus.
...We have peace with God through
our Lord Jesus Christ" (Romans
5:1)
Almighty
God is a just God, and His righteousness endures forever.
God’s justice sent Jesus, His Son, part of His very being, to the cross
to die for our sins. This same justice will send you to hell if you turn away
from Jesus. Though it would hurt His very heart, justice will be done. God has
given each of us a choice, we can choose to serve Jesus and become servants of
righteousness, or we can be slaves of Satan serving “self” and sin.
Almighty
God the Father has devoted His resources and time to the aid and redemption of
His children. He is always faithful and loving, never has He forgotten you.
His loving kindness and tender mercies continue to flow down from age to
age. His understanding is infinite.
Yet, some people refuse His free gift of salvation or worse, they walk away from
Him. As in all gifts, salvation must be received, you can’t force a gift on
someone, you can offer, but they must reach out and take hold of it.
We should
love and trust Him with all of our heart, mind, and soul. We are to have faith
in Him and His ability to love and take care of us, and to do what is best for
us. He commands us to love our brothers and sisters in the Lord, share our food
with the poor, forgive people who have done us wrong, to love mercy and truth.
Jesus will never ask you to do anything that He hasn’t given you the grace to
do. Come onto me, all you that labor and
are heavy burdened, and I will give you rest … My yoke is easy and My burden
light. (Matthew 11:28-30)
For the
Lord said ...And there is no other God
besides Me, a just God and a Savior; there is none besides me.
"Look
to Me, and be saved, all you ends of the earth!
For I am God, and there is no other." (Isaiah 45:21-22)
Almighty God the Father desire that all men be saved and have peace and
joy for eternity. Almighty God has made a way for all to be saved through the
work of Jesus on the cross.
He (Satan) has blinded their eyes and hardened
theirs hearts, lest they should see with their eyes, lest they should understand
with their hearts and turn, that I (Almighty God) should heal them. Yes, Satan has blinded the eyes of many people.
My own eyes were blinded for too many years. I wasted years on hate,
unhappiness, greed and selfishness.
If you are praying for someone to be saved, you have to bind Satan from
interfering with their salvation. In
faith, apply the blood of Jesus to their hearts, minds and spirits.
Faith will keep on believing and thanking God, that your loved one is
saved, never lose faith, just have patience.
We are the hands of the church, God works through people; unanswered
prayer could be because people don't response to God’s prompting in their
hearts.
Jesus’
friendship is cemented in unconditional love, His love. God is love, power is
God in action, therefore, love is power.
Where love is, God is. We all need more God in our lives and families,
let us put more love into our lives, relationships and families. Satan has no
power against love.
There is a
point after your new birth that you might find yourself alone with God.
I say might because each one of us is different, and our circumstances
are different. But if you should
find yourself alone with Him take advantage of the time to grow in the Lord,
develop a dependence upon Him, which is a strength and not weakness.
Spend as much time as possible reading the bible.
He is giving you a taste of Himself to develop a hunger in you for Him.
How far are you willing to stretch to gain your precious Lord?
Satan will
try anything to get you out of love and into unforgiveness and bitterness.
When you are not abiding in love you are not abiding in Christ and you
are open for an attack. As a new Christian many of your close family members and
friends might start to say things about you and to you, but continue to love
that person. To stop loving them
means to give up the most powerful force in the universe – love.
God is love and Jesus reached out for the
sinner, but never sinned.
Always walk
in the love; it will carry you through the most difficult times of your life.
Jesus never promised a life free from difficulty, but peace through
difficulties in Him. Jesus said,
“and you will be hated by all for My name’s sake.
But he who endures to the end shall be saved.”
(Mark 13:13) Pray for much
love, pray to have all the darkness removed from your life, in Jesus’ name.
Always pray to Almighty Father God in the Name of Jesus, because Jesus is
at the right hand of the Father making intercession for us.
If you go
back into the world and forgot God, it is like His baby died.
The early church would take in the baby Christians and they would be
surrounded by the presence of God Almighty obtaining protection and guidance
along with fellowship from mature believers.
Now when a new birth occurs, that person has to fight self and Satan
alone.
Your new
spirit is a child and it must grow.
The word of God tells us that the older will serve the younger, like Jacob and
Esau. Your fleshly nature was first, but your born again nature will take
leadership in time. God said, Jacob
I loved and Esau I hated. Esau is a
representation of the fleshly nature in all of us, he sold his birthright for a
bowl of red bean soup. Esau had his
heart set on immediate gratification.
Fighting a
Good Fight of Faith
Before you
gave your life to Lord Jesus you belonged to Satan. Satan will try everything in
his power to deceive you into giving up on your new life and going back into the
world again. You are now an enemy of Satan because he sees Christ within you.
In this you greatly rejoice, though now
for a little while, if need be, you have been grieved by various trials, that
the genuineness of your faith, being much more precious than gold that perishes,
though it is tested by fire, may be found to praise, honor, and glory at the
revelation of Jesus Christ. (1Peter
1:6) Almighty God the Father is not
trying to hurt you. He loves you very much.
Satan is trying to divide you from God.
Every kingdom divided against
itself is brought to desolation, and every city or house divided against itself
will not stand (Matthew 12:25). Satan will try anything to get you offended
at Almighty God the Father and Lord Jesus. He works in the area of
discouragement and disappointment and delusion. He will try to destroy the
character of Almighty Father. You
must be firmly rooted in the fact that God is a good God.
God is for you and not against you. Anything God prompts you to do is for
your own good or the good of others.
We have God, who will encourage us to feel good, and do good, show mercy and
love to others, and we have Satan trying to make us feel bad, or do bad, and
encourage us to hate and be angry.
God is
love, love is not boastful, God will not boast about Himself. God requires faith
and He will test that faith. You must have faith in Almighty Father having your
eyes set on the things above; for everything good and loving is from Him.
Almighty Father and Lord Jesus are on your side, fighting with you and
for you, not against you. If you are
on a team and you make a mistake.
The coach isn’t going to trip you and make you fall.
Likewise, God isn’t going to trip you if you make a mistake.
Blessed is the man who endures temptation; for
when he has been approved, he will receive the crown of life, which the Lord has
promised to those who love Him. Let
no one say when he is tempted, “I am tempted by God”; for God cannot be tempted
by evil, nor does He Himself tempt anyone.
But each one is tempted when he is drawn away by his own desires and
enticed.
(James 1:12-14) Then Jesus being
filled with the Holy Spirit, returned from the Jordan and was led by the Spirit
into the wilderness, being tempted for forty days by the devil.
(Luke 4:1-2) Now it came to pass after these things that God tested Abraham, and said
to him, “Abraham!” (Genesis 22:1)
The
Lord tests the righteous. (Psalm 11:5)
God will test your faith in Him, while Satan will tempt you to sin.
It’s like God is saying, do you really love and believe in Me?
While Satan is telling God that they love themselves and sin more than
you. Let God win in your life.
My biggest
battle was right after I received Jesus as my Lord and Savior.
Satan didn’t want me to grow in the Lord, because he knows that God has
given me power over the enemy, but I had no concept of spiritual warfare.
It is easier to kill a baby, who is defenseless then a grown mighty
warrior of God. Lord Jesus defeated Satan and stripped him of his power.
As a child of Almighty God, you can defeat Satan, by The Spirit of God
that dwells in all born again believers. Only in constant fellowship and
obedience to Lord Jesus can this enemy of man be defeated.
I will put My Spirit within you and cause you to
walk in My statutes, and you will keep My judgments and do them.
Then you shall dwell in the land that I gave to your father; you shall be
My people, and I will be your God. I
will deliver you from all your uncleanness.
I will call for the grain and multiply it, and bring no famine upon you.
(Ezekiel 36:
27-29) Almighty Father will cleanse
the world from you and all idols in your life will be removed.
He is merciful and will proceed at your own pace, but do not fight
against God. You will lose.
God will never go against your free will; if He did everyone would be
saved. Each lesson you learn must be cemented in obedience and lessons will
built upon each other. Ask Jesus to
remove anything in your heart and mind that doesn’t please Him.
You must believe that He has your best interest in mind and that He truly
loves you. It is best to praise God and be thankful for what He has already done
in your life.
This war is
over our very souls, our families, and the souls of others. You are fighting for
your eternal life. If you leave a sin or idol in your life, it can become a trap
for you. You will be giving Satan a
door in which to enter your life.
Any disobedience to God is considered alliance with Satan.
You can’t serve two masters.
We must conquer the enemy within, “self” or we will be fighting ourselves and
living defected lives. Almighty
Father has a huge army activated by prayer and faith. Yet a little sin can
destroy their power in your live.
God is and always will be a God of love, but you have an enemy that must be
defeated in your lives daily, in order to walk victoriously.
If
something should go wrong in your life, don’t blame God.
Job was tempted to sin against God by cursing Him.
Satan even said surely he will curse You to Your face – Job 2:5.
Yet Job did not sin with his lips – verse 10.
God didn’t attack Job's life.
Satan did.
For the thing I greatly feared has come upon me, and what I dreaded has
happened to me. (Job 3:25) Jesus loves you very much so follow Him closely.
He has cleansed, saved and delivered you; he doesn’t want to hurt you.
Satan comes to kill, steal and destroy. He has many tricks.
Don't let Satan steal your salvation or your joy in the Lord. The
battlefield is your soul, which consists of your mind, will, and emotions, and
your body. Fight Satan by praying,
praising God Almighty, who is worthy of all our praises and always walk in love
and let the peace of God rule in your heart.
If circumstances are out of control pray to God and ask Him if there is
any opens doors to the enemy or if you have some hidden sin. Bind Satan both now
and forevermore in the Name of Jesus.
Always use the powerful word of God against Satan.
Say it is written Away with you,
Satan! You shall worship the Lord your God, and Him only you shall serve."
(Matthew 4:10)
During the
first year, after giving your life to Jesus, Almighty Father will be very close
to you. The degree in which you
empty yourself of “self” will be the degree in which He can fill you with
Himself. Within my first year, I was away from my family and television.
God didn’t separate me from my family, but He used this time for my good
to develop a relationship with Jesus.
I spent time feeding my spirit and not my flesh.
I listened to Christian music and read the Bible and Christian books.
I spent a great deal of time in prayer and other godly things as directed
by the Holy Spirit. Sometimes I
would wake up in the morning to feel His presence in the room and I would start
singing to Him. I was truly changed
by His love. I was totally engulfed
in Him. Now Jesus can love my family from the inside of me. God needs to be a
priority in your life or your walk with Him will suffer.
If your relationship with God is not right, then there is a tidal wave
effect on your family.
Satan likes
to twist the Word of God, like in the Garden of Eden, Satan said, "surely you
would not die"? Satan wants control
of our minds and mouths. Our
thoughts can come from different sources: The Holy Spirit, you, human spirits,
or Satan. You decide on what to think about and what to talk about.
Are you talking about peace, love, joy and life or sickness, death,
destruction? Satan will try to get
you to talk unbelief and doubt; don't let him have your mind or your mouth.
Always think and speak on the good and the positive, while praying,
always pray the solution and not the problem. Always speak the word of God, all
of God's creation, including your born again spirit, are subject to the word of
God.
Reality of
Satan
The Bible
describes Satan as the prince of this world.
He is the archenemy of God and God's creation - man.
Jesus is the King of Kings and the prince must bow his knee to the King -
for it is written every knee will bow and every tongue will confess that Jesus
Christ is Lord forever to the glory of God the Father. God Almighty loves and
wants to protect us, while Satan and his demons hate and want to kill us. Satan
came to kill, steal and destroy; Jesus came so that we might have life and have
it more abundantly. Hell was prepared for the Satan and his angels, but Satan is
determined to take as many of God's creation, man, into hell with him as
possible. Satan is so full of hate
for Almighty God that He hurts Him by hurting His children, and then he whispers
in their ears and blames God. Hell
has a fire that shall never be quenched and where the worms never die. Hell is
real and a terrible place with an overflowing atmosphere of despair, pain,
hopelessness, fear and constant torture. Where the hunger, pain and thirst is
unbearable.
One of the
biggest deceptions of Satan is that he and hell do not exist.
Satan hides in the darkness, he darkens your eyes to the things of God
Almighty. He blinds you into being worldly-minded. He will blind you into
thinking you need to gain the world to serve the Lord. Satan wants you so
wrapped up in this world system, that you are too busy to pray and seek God.
And fire came down from God out of heaven
and devoured them. And Satan, who
deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone where the beast and
false prophets are, they will be tormented day and night forever and ever
(Revelation 20 9-10). Brothers and
sisters this is a fire that is not quenched, have you ever burned your finger or
had sunburn? Can you imagine anyone in that much pain for eternity? I don’t wish
that on my enemies certainly not a friend or loved one.
Satan will
try to steal your very life by making you worldly-minded.
Today things that are against God are accepted in our society. It is like
inviting demons into our lives. The bible states
"Give no regard to mediums and familiar
spirits; do not seek after them, to be defiled by them (Leviticus 19:31).
The psychic hotline, horoscopes, lucky charms, superstition, and the Ouija board
are all forms of witchcraft. All of these things lead us on a path to hell.
Loving pleasure more than God and sexual immorality is pleasing to Satan
and detestable to God Almighty.
Evil is
never harmless.
Also, many of those who had practiced magic brought their books together
and burned them in the sight of all. And they counted up the value of them, and
it totaled fifty thousand pieces of silver.
So the word of the Lord grew mightily and prevailed. (Acts 19:19-20)
After I was saved all books on horoscope, sex, mind control, any evil
type of statue, toy, jewelry, or games, and rock n’ roll music went into the
trash. Pray to God to show you what
to keep and what to throw out. It
would be helpful to have a mature Christian walk through your house to help you.
You have authority over evil, but why bring it into your house so you
have to fight it constantly.
When anyone hears the word of the kingdom, and
does not understand it, then the wicked one comes and snatches away what was
sown in his heart.
(Matthew 13:19)
This person invited Jesus into their heart and life, but there was no
real change. They said the prayer
but they were unwilling to take the next step and grow in the Lord.
Satan won this battle, but the war isn’t over until a person dies.
But he who received the seed on stony places,
this is he who hears the word and immediately receives it with joy; yet has no
root in himself, but endures only for a while.
For when tribulation or persecution arises because of the word,
immediately he stumbles. (Matthew 13:20-21). This is
love of the world, and what the world thinks about you, not what your Heavenly
Father thinks about you. Any trouble
or persecution you may face is much less severe than if you gave up on Jesus and
went back into the world and died and went to hell.
Always pray to Almighty Father if you need help.
Ask Him for the grace to serve Him with a pure heart and motives.
If you give up and turn back to the world, you will spend eternity
regretting your decision.
And if your foot causes you to sin, cut it off.
It is better for you to enter life lame, rather than having two feet, and
to be cast into hell, into the fire that shall never be quenched - where "Their
worm does not die and the fire is not quenched"
(Mark 9:45-46). I'm not
telling you to cut off your foot or pluck out your eye (verse 47), but if you
are walking with the wrong crowd and walking to places you shouldn't be, stop.
If you are looking at things that you shouldn't look at and it is causing
you to sin, stop.
Your love
of Almighty Father and Lord Jesus must be greater than your love of the praises
or opinions of men or the things of this world. If there is one area of your
life that is not submitted to Almighty God that might become a trap for you. Man
may give up on God, but God will never give up on man.
God will never walk away from you; you would have to reject Him. The
choices we make in this world decide if we are walking to Him or away from Him.
It is hard to reject someone if you are trying to walk towards them.
Now he who received seed among the thorns is he
who hears the word, and the cares of the world and the deceitfulness of riches
choke the word, and he becomes unfruitful.
(Matthew
13:22) This is the love of the
flesh. Seek first the kingdom of God and all these things will be added to you.
I didn't ask Jesus into my heart to gain the world.
I ask Jesus into my heart to save me from hell.
God taught me that without Jesus as my Lord and King, I would go straight
to hell when I died. I didn't come to Jesus for His love, peace, and blessings.
I came to Jesus for His mercy and forgiveness of sins. Jesus adds His love and
peace as we worked on getting the love of the world out of me.
You can't reach out to take hold of something when your hands are full.
At any
point in your walk with the Lord, your love can be suffocated.
We need to be on fire for God. Sometimes we don’t even realize how far we
have slipped. The lust of the flesh
is never satisfied. You might think
just one more time, but lust wants more and more, until it has consumed you.
Like Samson, who spent so much time in the enemy’s lap that he didn’t
realize that his strength was gone until it was time to engage in battle.
“I will go out as before, at other
times, and shake myself free!” But he did not know that the Lord had departed
from him. (Judges 16:20)
The outcome of this battle will determine your eternity.
Satan will use your weaknesses to attack your strengths.
But he who received seed on good ground is he who
hears the word and understands it, who indeed bears fruit and produces: some a
hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty.
(Matthew 13:23) Your
recreated spirit is like a seed that Almighty Father plants and it was bought
with the precious Blood of Jesus. In
order for a seed to grow it needs sunshine, soil, and water.
The soil is our heart always keep it pure, clean, and contrite.
Fellowship with Jesus and the body of Christ is the necessary sunshine for
healthy growth. Water the seed with the washing of the Word of God and the
repentance of sin, turning away from all that is evil.
In the
natural world we are what we eat, if we want to grow strong and healthy we eat
properly and exercise. The same is
true for the spiritual world, we must watch what we feed our spirits.
We build spiritual muscles by reading the word of God, resisting sin and
praying in tongues. Please don’t
feed your spirit with what is on the television set, unless it is a Christian
channel.
As newborn babes, desire the pure milk of
the word that you may grow thereby. (1 Peter 2:2)
I am a New
Creature in Jesus Christ
Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus
Christ, who according to His abundant mercy he has begotten us again to a living
hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead.
(1 Peter 1:3)
The Spirit of God lives in you and has recreated your spirit. Now, seek
assistance in renewing your mind and emotions; never let the cares of this world
lead you astray. You were recreated in His image with His characteristic, which
are the fruits of the spirit: love,
joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and
self-control. You must reach out with the hand of faith and claim the fruits of
the spirit. God's nature is inside
of you, but you have to be willing to exchange your old emotions: hate for love,
fear for faith, pride for humility, anxiety for peace, doubt for trust in GOD.
You have to have the willingness to reject the old emotions and have a
desire for the fruits of the spirit. If you don't have the desire, pray to
Almighty Father in the Name of Jesus to have a desire for the fruits of the
spirit. God will give us the desires of our hearts, when we delight ourselves in
the Lord. Pray to Almighty Father to
create in you a clean and pure heart.
You are
reborn of God. Sin, death, poverty, sickness and diseases no longer have
dominion over you. Satan will try to steal this truth from your heart and mind,
but trust the blood and love of Lord Jesus. Lord Jesus has defeated Satan. If
fear creeps in, cast out the thought in the Name of Jesus and say it is written:
"God has not give us a spirit of fear but a spirit of love and a sound mind. I
trust in the Lord Jesus and lean not on my own understanding." If doubt creeps
in, cast out the thought in the Name of Jesus and say it is written: "I am a new
creature in Christ Jesus, old things have past away, behold all things are new
again."
That you put off, concerning your former conduct,
the old man which grows corrupt according to the deceitful lusts, and be renewed
in the spirit of your mind, and that you put on the new man which was created
according to God, in true righteousness and holiness. (Ephesians
4:22-24) We are told to reject the old nature of sin, lying, cheating, and
lustfulness and accept the new godly nature of righteousness and holiness. This
is because opposites cannot be contained in the same space and your mind cannot
be expanded to contain them both.
Nor can opposite feelings be superimposed upon each other, one has to stay while
the other goes, your choice. You
cannot reach out to obtain the goodness of GOD while you are holding on to your
old sinful nature. If you really
want divine love, how much hate are you willing to give up, or are you going to
hold on to that hate. How much peace
do you want? Can you trust and obey the Lord Jesus? Can you cast your cares upon
the Him and give up your worry and anxiety.
The choice has always been yours. How much fear and doubt are you willing
to give up in order to obtain faith and trust. We are the products of our
thought, words and deeds. While in the presence of the Lord, if a negative
thought enters your mind, the presence of the Lord will leave.
The Lord must have first place in your thought life as well as your
actions and deeds. This is truly
victorious living, living in the presence of the Jesus.
Perfect
love casts out all fear, pray for much love of Almighty Father, Lord Jesus, and
the Holy Spirit, yes pray to love Them more each day. A threefold cord is not
quickly broken.
How we
react to situations and circumstances determines our actions and speech, which
will dictate the course of our lives. Our thoughts determine our feelings and
our feelings determine our actions and speech.
Great care must be given to our thought life. What we think about
determines the course of our lives.
As a Christian, we don't walk by our feelings, we walk by faith in God, but with
the knowledge that if our feelings are not peace and joy, maybe we better check
up on what we are thinking about, does it line up with God’s word.
If you live by the spirit, it is possible to always have peace and joy
regardless of what you are going through.
Many people spend years to have that one or two weeks of peace and joy
called a vacation, but as a Christian, we can live in peace and joy in the Lord
daily.
Always
choose life, choose what the bible teaches about life, not what the world
teaches. We have been programmed by this world for a long time.
It is vital that you reprogram your mind with the word of God and mediate
on it. God's word is God's will; to
know the will of God we must know His word.
As children of God we should be able to respond to life, as God would
have us response. The joy of the
Lord was given to Christians to enjoy Him in His fullness.
To enjoy Lord Jesus, His will must be your will.
Since you are a Christian, you will not enjoy the things of the world,
the only true joy will come from Lord Jesus.
You will be miserable if you try to live in sin or put your will above
the will of the Father.
Go therefore and make disciples of all the
nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the
Holy Spirit. (Matthew 28:19)
He who believes and is baptized
shall be saved, but he who does not believe shall be condemned. (Mark 16:16)
First you need to believe in the Lord Jesus then you need to be baptized.
I was baptized as an infant, but I didn’t repent of any sins or believe in
Jesus, as the Son of God, and make Him my Lord and Savior.
After I was born again, the Lord began to deal with me about being
baptized. After I was baptized, I
was changed. I died to the world and
left an ugly part of my self in the lake.
Words cannot describe the refreshing experience from being baptized.
The definition of baptize is the process of immersion or to dip.
“Rise up and be baptized and wash
away your sins, calling on His name” (Act 22:16)
I have
found, to my delight, that I can be filled with the Holy Spirit and communicate
with Lord Jesus seven days a week, not just on Sundays. He doesn't care if you
just came to know Him or you have known Him for a long time, He will be with
you. Sometimes He doesn't talk, but there is a peaceful feeling of His presence.
He will flood your life with His peace, if you will let Him, or are you
too busy with the natural world, to give Him time during your day. I ask you to
start by giving Him five minutes every hour and increase from there. For five
minutes each hour, turn your whole attention to Him, and worship and praise Him.
We are changed in His presence. You
can start off with five minutes and have the Holy Spirit lead you from there.
Get to know Him, Jesus, not just know of Him, your eternal destiny rests on you
loving and obeying Him.
There is a
third person to the Godhead, the Holy Spirit.
I was on my way to a Ladies Church Convention, and the Lord said, “Do you
want to speak in tongues?” I said,
“Oh no, I’m not a pastor or leader.”
He said, “It is a free gift.”
Then I said, “I will take it.” I had
forgotten that I had prayed for the gift of tongues months before right after I
was born again. During the course of
the meeting, anyone who wanted to receive the baptism of the Holy Spirit with
the gift of tongues was invited to the front for prayer.
I judged
the event by the results in my life and the effect it had on my children.
The baptism of the Holy Spirit brought me closer to God.
If you are involved in something and it is bringing you closer to God
then continue. If an event is
drawing you away from God, then stop.
The Holy Spirit was imparted to you at your rebirth, but not the baptism
of the Holy Spirit, which may or may not result in speaking in tongues.
The Holy Spirit is given to you by Almighty God to act as an inward
witness to guide, empower and give you a passion for lost souls.
The Holy Spirit will teach you all truths and lead you down the road of
righteousness.
Satan
fights the baptism of the Holy Spirit because he knows you will receive power to
change your life and become a witness for Jesus.
Jesus said, “Nevertheless I tell you the truth.
It is to your advantage that I go away; for if I do not go away, the
Helper will not come to you; but if I depart, I will send Him to you.”
(John 16:7)
“But you shall receive power when the
Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be a witnesses to Me in Jerusalem,
and in all Judea and Samaria and to the end of the earth.
(Acts 1:8)
You have to
be willing to flow with the prompting of the Holy Spirit.
God will not grant you the Holy Spirit if in your heart you will
continually grieve the Holy Spirit. From the time you ask to receive the Holy
Spirit until the time you actually receive Him might be moments, days or even
months, just keep thanking Almighty Father for His Holy Spirit in fullness.
I had to promise the Lord Jesus that I would honor the Holy Spirit and
not grieve Him, before I received Him.
The Lord Jesus will try your heart at night while you sleep.
I did nothing on my own, but cooperate with God.
I continue to pray to Almighty Father asking Him to remove any thought or
emotion that He doesn’t like. If you give Jesus free reign in your life and mind
He can work miracles, trust Him.
If we die
to self and abide in Christ, we have no occasion for stumbling, sin is selfish,
remove self and self pride and Satan lacks a place to attack. Satan will try to
appeal to our self: self-pity, self-conscious, selfishness, pride, greed, lust,
self-hatred, self-critical, self-condemnation, self-justifying. If Satan can get
our eyes off of Jesus on to ourselves He might get us to stumble. We need to
stay focused on Jesus, His love, His peace, and His joy. Good will always
conquer evil; evil will always flee in the face of good.
We need to stay abiding in Christ, being in His presence, and all evil
will flee. Jesus longs to lead you
down the road of righteousness, but He can only lead you if you are willing to
follow. He is the door and will open doors for you to walk through, but you must
by faith walk through.
Ever since
we were born, we have had the sin nature in us teaching us how to be sinful and
self-seeking. Now our spirit is born again and is conscious of God’s presence.
Jesus will teach us how to love one another.
Before I was saved, I would be fighting a battle in my mind with someone
and they were not even present. Chances are the evil one was feeding my mind and
their mind with ill thoughts about each other and by the time we got together,
it was all out war. Satan continues
to stir up strife in families, but we can win with the love of God.
We are mirror reflection of the master we choose to serve, Jesus or
Satan.
Jesus can
mend your heart if you are willing to give it to Him. Jesus is the best
counselor a person could ever hope for.
All it takes is your honesty and time.
Jesus will peel back the layers of hurt and pain until He renews and
refreshes your life. I have invited
Jesus into my past to heal the old hurts and wounds.
He will take you through the most painful memories and shed His love and
understanding. While this was taking
place I noticed that I cried a lot, but when it was all over the fruit of it was
freedom. Some people call hurtful
memories “hot buttons”, or strongholds.
We react to a current situation with our memories of the past.
Our expectation of others is in part based on how people have treated us
in the past.
God said love does not seek its own, is
not provoked, thinks no evil. (1 Corinthians 13:5)
We should not respond to the future with old expectations from the past.
Only by renewing your mind with the word of God and by giving all of
yourself to Jesus, your past, present and future can you be emotionally healed
and set free. If an old painful memory should surface, ask Jesus to heal the
memory and help you to forgive all the involved people, including yourself.
Jesus wants you free. Only He truly knows your pain and weakness, not to
lord over you, but to heal you and to teach you His way of love.
He will heal the pains of the past, so you can love with His kind of love
in the future.
For years,
I responded to Father God, with my attitude or belief about fathers.
I viewed my earthly father, (I’m not saying he was, but this is how I
viewed him.) as someone that I had to please before he would love me.
Love was not freely given, but punishment or the threat of it was. This
was a hindrance to my walk with God.
I could see how someone might struggle with the faithfulness of God, if their
own fathers left them. I believe that this is one reason why Satan attacks
families. Again, we must come to God
and believe what the Bible has to say about God Almighty not our minds or
hearts, or our own opinion about fathers.
He is a merciful and loving God, yet iniquity will have a payday.
The love of God and the fear of God will keep you on the straight and
narrow. The love of God will bring
you closer to Him. The fear of God
will drive you away from sin. And the Lord passed before him and proclaimed,
“The Lord, the Lord God, merciful and
gracious, longsuffering, abounding in goodness and truth, keeping mercy for
thousands, forgiving iniquity and transgression and sin, by no means clearing
visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children and the children’s
children to the third and the fourth generation.”
(Exodus 34:6-7)
The worldly
love keeps part of you hidden in the darkness, for fear of rejection or hurt.
Worldly love never truly opens itself to other people for fear of being
hurt or used by others. There is freedom in the love of Jesus. Jesus offers an
unconditional love where you can freely love others without fear, hurt or
rejection because we do not love for self, but for God.
Give Lord Jesus a humble spirit and loving glad heart.
Jesus will teach you how to love even your enemies.
The more of myself I gave to Jesus, the more of Himself He gave to me.
Jesus is still working on me, in time I will be a testimony of His
miracles, but for now I am a testimony of His love and patience.
Do not dwell on Satan and
make him bigger in your life than God is or you will be living in fear and not
faith. Satan is a created being; God
Almighty is the divine creator.
Likewise, don’t live blinded to the truth that you have an enemy who will try to
steal all the blessings God has for your life.
Whether this enemy is self, who has not been dethrone yet, or an evil
spirit sent to defeat or discourage you, just continue to be focused on Jesus.
Study the life of Jesus and you can see how to overcome the enemy. As a young Christian, the
Lord would be very close to me and show me His love, and then the enemy would
attack my life. It got to a point
when Jesus was very close I would think here it goes again.
What was really happening is the Lord Jesus was planting His love in my
heart and the enemy was coming to steal it, or the Lord knew of an upcoming
battle and was strengthening me.
Now, I have a realization, I need to stay hidden under the blood of Jesus and
abide in Christ, and keep the whole armor of God on.
Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to
withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.
Stand therefore, having girded your waist with truth, having put on the
breastplate of righteousness, and having shod your feet with the preparation of
the gospel of peace; above all, taking the shield of faith with which you will
be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one.
And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is
the word of God; (Ephesians 6:13-17)
Jesus’ life was a series
of advancing into enemy territory and being attacked by the enemy.
Jesus attacked the enemy by being obedient to the Father and was
baptized, but John the Baptist in false humility tried to stop it, (real
humility will obey the Lord without having to understand everything). Jesus
pleased the Father by His 40 day of fasting and the enemy counter attacked by
tempting Jesus. Jesus attacked by defeating Satan with the word of God, Satan
counter attacked by having John the Baptist beheaded.
Jesus feeds the multitudes.
Jesus spent much of His ministry overcoming evil.
“They sought to stone Him, (Jesus).” God the Father did not fight against
His Son to teach Him a lesson, nor did He punish Him for some hidden sin.
We, as children of God, are in a battle with the forces of evil. We are to fight the
enemy, Satan, not other people. I
asked the Lord, how do I fight Satan, and the Holy Spirit asked how did Jesus
fight Satan. After thinking about it
I thought Jesus fought Satan with the word of God, faith in God, by doing good,
praising and glorifying God, prayer, being obedient, self-denial, and
self-sacrifice. The self-denial and
self-sacrifice of Jesus administered the final blow to Satan that put his
kingdom under. Our obedience to the will of God and our self-denial will be the
weapons needed to put Satan under our feet.
Attacks come from two
sources, you are in the will of God, and Satan is getting nervous. Or you are
not abiding in Christ, stepping out on your own, which could leave you open for
an attack. Obedience will bring
blessing and joy, while disobedience will produce the opposite, cursed and
sadness. Jesus always did what
pleased the Father yet He was attacked.
Notice God always provided a way of escape, but you have to be in His
presence to hear and have faith in His goodness.
Beloved, do not think it strange
concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing
happened to you; but rejoice to the extent that you partake of Christ’s
sufferings, that when His glory is revealed, you may also be glad with exceeding
joy. If you are reproached for the
name of Christ, blessed are you, for the Spirit of glory and of God rests upon
you. On their part He is blasphemed,
but on your part He is glorified.
(1 Peter 4:12-14) We are told we will suffer, but it is best to suffer
for righteousness sake.
Some
defenses against the Satan The Presence of God – The
Holy Spirit’s nature is the fruits of the spirit: love, joy, peace, patience,
kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control.
He is grieved by negative emotions like hate, anger, sadness, envy, any
emotion that is opposite the fruits of the spirit.
We must cherish Him above all things.
You will begin to notice what grieves Him.
His presence is pure love and tenderness.
I desire to always live in His presence.
In the presence of light, darkness cannot exist.
Praise and
Thanksgiving - Praise opens the lines of communication with Jesus.
Praising the Lord raises your spirit and amplifies the Lord Jesus, while
complaining and being depressed amplifies Satan. If you are praising Almighty
Father the victory is yours, it shows faith and trust in the Lord, it keeps the
door open for the wonderful blessings of Almighty God, and it puts Satan on the
run. The moment you feel oppressed start praising the Lord and it will raise
your spirit. The Lord will inhabit
the praises of His people, if you need God, and we all do, start praising Him.
Would a parent give his child a gift, if the child had not thanked him
for the last gift?
Prayer -
I love those who love me, and those who
seek me early and diligently shall find me (Proverbs 8:17). It is so
important to start off each day in prayer, drawing near to God and He will draw
near to you. I don't know about you but I like to be very near to God.
At the beginning of each day, dedicate it to Lord Jesus, and ask to be
filled with His precious Holy Spirit.
In
God’s kingdom, we need to grow and learn, by reading the Word of God, obeying
the voice of God, reading books by men of God, and praying without ceasing, and
attending church. God will enable
you to work in His kingdom, but the first major work will be with you.
Jesus is
our door to Almighty Father, and prayer is Almighty Father’s door to our lives
and the lives of others. By prayer,
we fellowship with Almighty Father, He is a spirit and we worship Him in spirit
and in truth. One definition of truth is the reality lying at the base,
unconcealed, uncovered, and lay bare.
Approach Him unconcealed, and lay bare our lives, our families and our
society, so He can work His miracles.
Don't conceal anything. All
areas of our lives should be brought into His light.
He knows everything, but is waiting for you to approach Him on the
subject. He might even be the one prompting your heart.
If something doesn't seem
right to you, even if you just read it in a newspaper, pray about it asking God
to do His will in the situation and having all the glory go to God Almighty
Father. God will decide in His infinite wisdom what to do, but He must receive
all the glory too.
Prayer
won't change God Almighty Father, He is prefect already, but prayer will change
the circumstances or your response to the circumstances.
Ask the Heavenly Father for the gift of tongues, this will enhance your
prayer life. Prayer will cleanse you from the world and renew your mind to
Almighty Father. Almighty Father
will move mightily in your life and the lives of others, by praying in faith and
in line with the will of God. Pray
for things you can take to heaven with you, like family and friends, because the
time is short. Jesus will be
returning soon.
Pray the
solution and not the problem, love always hopes for the best and never limits
God. I prefer open-ended prayers, Almighty Father I know you can bring prefect
peace to my family, the peace that passes all understanding. It is the highest
honor a man can have is to pray to Almighty God and Lord Jesus Christ and to
know Them. The next major step would
be to obey the prompting of your heart.
God will answer pray, so be willing to follow His leading for the
solution.
The Word of
God - Your new life will grow by the
word of God and fellowship with God.
Your victory will depend on your trust and understanding of God and His word.
Mediate on the word of God day and night, until it becomes part of your
speech and then mediate some more.
The word of God is like a seed, plant it into your heart and it will grow and
produce victory in your Christian life.
For I, the Lord your God, will hold your right
hand, Saying to you, “Fear not, I will help you”. (Isaiah
41:13) When Satan brings you a
temptation cast it out of your mind in the Name of Jesus and say it is written:
I will submit to God, resist you, Satan, in the Name of Jesus and you must flee.
Also, say the blood of Jesus is against you Satan.
These temptations can come in any form, including emotions like anger,
hate, or lust. Once you have been
cleansed of certain emotions and free of them you will notice that the feelings
come from the outside of you trying to come inside.
It is up to you to accept the negative emotions or reject them in the
name of Jesus. Almighty Father
cleansed me from the emotion of anger, now I notice the feeling comes from the
outside of me wanting to get inside.
Anger isn’t part of the born again nature.
There is a righteous anger that will rise up from the inside of you
against sin and evil. Righteous
anger is accompanied by a desire to do something good.
We cannot
fight Satan with his own weapons, for a while I was so mad at Satan for
something that the hate of him was starting to become stronger than the love of
God Almighty. I repented and was
determined that the battle is the Lord’s and vengeance is His.
My best weapons are the presence of God, wisdom, word of God, love, joy,
truth, obedience, holiness, justice, mercy, righteousness, and rejoicing in
tribulation. The enemy has no
defense for these.
Seek
wisdom, go to the God’s word and start believing promises that come against the
situation and in all things praise the Lord for the victory.
When the battle is the Lord’s you can be assured of a victory, but again
you must seek His presence and His Word daily to listen to what you must do for
the victory. He will work out a plan
for you, but you are His hands and feet.
I confess
that every track, I hand out is my harvest of souls for Jesus and it will
produce thirty, sixty, or hundred fold return for the Kingdom of God. The battle
is over the souls of men; anything else is a distraction.
If you have been wounded emotionally, financially, or physically, get
healed. God wants you whole to fight in His army.
I confess that every soul that was destined to belong to Lord Jesus and
Satan stole them. Satan has to
payback seven times as many to Lord Jesus.
Praise God Almighty because He will perform His word.
God wants to save His children, more precious to Him than gold or silver.
In heaven, we will have everything we need, but will we have everyone or
will some of your family and friends be missing.
The Name of
Jesus - When you are being tempted or tormented, say I bind you forever, evil
spirits and demons in the name of Jesus Christ and command you to go to the dry
place forever in Jesus Name. Resist Satan and he will flee. The name of Jesus
(His character) will conquer all temptation of Satan and still all fears.
Say the name of Jesus often.
Jesus conquered all evil. The name of the
Lord is a strong tower: the righteous run to it and are safe (Proverbs
18:10). If you are fighting a battle
and need the Lord's assistance say Jesus conquers or Jesus saves from judging,
smoking, drinking, fear, worry. Whatever you feel or the Lord prompts you to
change in your life for Him.
Blood of
Jesus - For this is My blood of the new
covenant, which is being poured out for many for the remission of sins.
(Matthew 26:28) The blood that Jesus poured out for us is the blood of the
covenant between God and mankind.
The blood of Jesus is stronger and more powerful then any sin you have ever
committed. The same powerful, never failing love, is strong enough for you to
want to turn to the Lord Jesus for everything.
The blood of Jesus will protect your mind, heart, spirit, soul, body and
calling on your life. Say the blood of Jesus protects my family and I, the blood
of Jesus will sanctify my family, the blood of Jesus will heal my body, purify
my heart and mind, wash away my sins, keep me in the family of God, and protect
me from the wrath of God. Study the
passion of Jesus, for each time He was struck in the face, He was taking your
punishment for us disobeying and talking back to God.
The blood He shed at Gethsemane was shed so we can have the peace of God.
The crown of thorns was for the mind of Christ.
The scourging was for our healing.
His beard was pulled out so that no man can snatch us from His hands.
He was hung on the cross to become the curse of the law for us.
Each time Jesus suffered and shed His blood, He was doing it for us.
And they overcame him (Satan) by the blood of the
Lamb (Jesus) and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their
lives to the death.
(Revelation 12:11) There is no fellowship with God, no access to His
throne, or favor without a blood sacrifice.
This blood sacrifice is the death of His beloved son, Jesus.
Not with the blood of goats and calves, but with His own blood He
(Jesus) entered the Most Holy Place once for all having obtained eternal
redemption. (Hebrews 9:12) We
are servants of the Most High God; a servant must only serve one master.
The Word of God, tell us to give up our life and put it in the hands of
Jesus, in order to save it. We
actually exchange our “self desires” or our wills, which is centered on oneself
for the will of God.
Telling
Other about Jesus Christ – God cares about all of His children.
He sent Jesus to earth so that no one would perish.
The sharing of the gospel is a responsibility of every Christian.
God gave the authority over the devil to the church, as a Christian you
share in that authority and responsibility.
God’s authority should be used to strengthen and expanded God’s kingdom
on earth. If the Lord should put a
person on your heart that is not saved.
Pray in the name of Jesus that Satan would be bound from interfering with
their salvation. Logically speaking
most people would choose to be with Jesus, the one who loves them, as opposed to
Satan the one who hates them. Lord
Jesus offers streets of gold and Satan offers flames of fire, where the worm
never dies. Now who do you think
they would serve in this life?
Command the demons to loosen the person you wish Jesus to saved and apply the
blood of Jesus to their hearts. Ask God to send labors to them to preach the
gospel, request that the Holy Spirit hover above them.
God is a loving and just God, He desires that all will be save.
God Loves You
Jesus is
all-powerful and all knowing and all love. He knows the results of your actions
and can see the tidal wave effects on the lives of other people.
If He is stern in one area, stay clear of it, for He has your best
interests in His heart. His heart is
pure love. Jesus is meek and lowly,
never would He exalt Himself, but rather would like to see all His children
triumph over the enemy. We are
honored to serve such a great and awesome God, His love flows endlessly to all
of His children. Don’t stop the flow
of His Spirit by unbelief, disobedience, not walking in love, or a heart that is
full of self. Guard your heart keeping it pure and directed towards Jesus.
Natural
fathers have a desire for their children to succeed. How much more does our
Supernatural Father want to see us triumph over the enemy?
I am grieved by the devotion to false gods.
We have the true and living God and should be more devoted to Him, then
people are to false gods. I’m not
talking about being religious, but consider, we as Christian can commune with
God all of our waking hours. In one
religion, they are required to pray to Mecca five times a day.
Do Christian, stop what they are doing five times a day and praise God,
who dwells in them? Or consider the
children of Satan, who wear huge dog chains around their necks and omit that
they are in bondage to Satan. These
children don’t care what others think about them.
They are serving their master.
We serve the Most High God, we shouldn’t care what other think about us,
just what God thinks about us. One
preacher said boldly, I’m not preaching for your approval, I’m preaching for the
approval of the great cloud of witnesses.
I certainly haven’t arrived at that point where everything I do or say is
done or said as unto God. I have a
heart belief that this is where I need to be to be victorious in these end
times. Jesus Christ is our
righteousness. God gave us His best,
Jesus, we should give Him our best.
One
definition of salvation is the deliverance from evil or the world; it is not
natural once you are born again to want to sin.
If this is so, you must spend more time with the things of God, ideally
fellowshipping with Him, reading the bible, as opposed to spending time with the
things of this world. You have
already spent a great deal of time pleasing the old you, start pleasing the
reborn you so your joy may be complete.
There is no greater joy then being in the presence of Almighty Father,
this is truly heaven on earth. Jesus
is the greatest teacher, learn of His kingdom from Him, listen and obey that
still small voice.
We must
come to Him as His child, let Him fill us with His love, bringing Him into every
part of our lives, dedicating everything to Him for His glory.
If trials bring you patience, then Jesus is extremely patient.
Just imagine how many times He is dealing with the same issues in so many
different lives. In my own life, we
have gone over the same thing, again and again, until the light comes on, and
the darkness is removed in that area.
Jesus has so many trials and each one has a person’s name on it.
Greater love has no one than this,
than to lay down one’s life for his friends.
You are My friends if you do whatever I command you. (John 15:13-14)
Lord Jesus is loyal, faithful, and He is wisdom. He loves you, praise Him
often. Desire only to know Him, seek
only to please Him and your world will begin to become a wonderful peaceful
place full of joy and love.
The law of the God's
Kingdom is progress; not to make progress is to actually fall behind. Almighty
Father dwells amongst His people to bless, protect, and provide for them, but
a Holy God desires to dwell amongst a Holy people. His first great work in your
life will begin with you, whether it is physical, emotional or spiritual healing
and development.
Peace I leave with you: my peace I give you.
I do not give to you as the world gives.
Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.
(John 14:27)
You must let go of this world and
grab hold of Jesus with both hands.
If something goes astray don't
blame God. I have had real troubles
in my life when I didn't listen to His prompting in my heart or I was in pride.
There are others things that will trip you up like disobedience or
partial obedience, or impatience just to name a few. I wrote this not because I
was so victorious, but because I went through some stuff that I wouldn’t want
others to go through. We learn from
our mistakes, but the brightest people learn from other people’s mistakes.
You must
trust in Jesus’ wisdom and lean on His understanding and trust in His motives,
which are birthed from love. Man
sharing the gospel with man is God’s plan. When the Lord prompts your heart to
share the gospel with someone, then that person is ready to receive.
This is Jesus’ work; we must be sensitive to His promptings.
The more times you are faithful to carry out His instructions, the more
opportunities you will be given to serve Him.
If you are not faithful in the detail and the motive of the assigned task
the Lord gives you, how can He trust you with more? Do unto others, as you would
have them do unto you. I know He
loves the lost just as much as He loves you.
Do you
believe Jesus will take care of your needs?
Are you extending your hand to meet the needs of others?
If Jesus is no longer speaking to you as often as He use to, could it be
that you are no longer speaking about Him to others as often as you use to.
Or maybe you didn’t obey the last thing He told you to do.
I found it very helpful to write it down immediately.
Jesus is motivated by love; everything He does is birth from His love for
mankind. You must be willing to put
Him first in your life, because He has put you first. Everything we do must be
done out of love, the only way we can achieve this, is to spend time with Jesus.
He is the source of love. God is
love. If the response to prayers is taking longer than it did in the beginning,
always look into your own actions because the Lord Jesus never changes, but we
do. The Lord is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.
We should thank Him often for His mercy and grace in our lives.
He will honor those who honor Him.
You have
power over the enemy with the Name of Jesus. An important bible verse for a new
believers is "Away with you Satan"
(Matthew 4:10) If you are under attack say in the Name of Jesus it is written;
away with you Satan. As time goes on and you continue to develop and grow in the
Lord, the light of Jesus will shine so bright, that darkness will have no place
in your life. Until then, continue
growing in the Lord Jesus.
The
stronger you become spiritually, the more careful you have to be in what you say
and think about, or the anointing will leave.
Jesus will not give you His power unless He has your will.
Nothing should be more important in your life than your love and
obedience to God.
For what profit is it to a man if he
gains the whole world, and loses his own soul?
Or what will a man give in exchange for his soul? (Matthew 16:26). I
was materialistic before I was saved, and the Lord delivered me from things.
Now, I guard my heart so that covetousness does not gain a place.
The bible verse that helped me is Hebrews 13:5.
Let your conduct be without covetousness; be content with such things as
you have. For He Himself has said,
“I will never leave you nor forsake you.”
Will a man rob God?
Yet you have robbed Me! But you say, “In what way have we robbed You?” In
tithes and offerings. You are cursed
with a curse, For you have robbed Me, this whole nation.
(Malachi 3:8-9) There is no
question, tithing and giving offering is not optional.
The tithe, or tenth, belongs to God.
I believe that the tithe belongs to God and He will direct you as to your
giving, but if you are under a spiritual authority, such as a Pastor or Priest,
who believes that the tithe belongs to the local church, then you have to tithe
to the local church, because it would be disobedience if you don’t.
The Pastor will be responsible unto God for the distribution of the
tithe.
Has the Lord delight in burnt offering
and sacrifices, as in obeying the voice of the Lord?
Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, to heed than the fat of rams.
(1 Samuel 15:22) You should
give offering as directed by Jesus.
The exception would be giving to the poor, for Jesus said,
“For you have the poor with you always,
and whenever you wish you may do them good; but Me you do not have always.
(Mark 14:7) Be careful to
plant your seed out of love and not greed. God prospers His people and He will
meet their needs, just guard your heart.
It is best to do right thing for the right reason.
Let nothing hurt your walk with the Lord Jesus.
While you are in the wilderness, you are in a land of just enough.
Whether I have plenty or a little, in time it was just enough to meet my
needs. So when they measured by omers, he
who gathered much had nothing left over, and he who gathered little had no lack.
Every man had gathered according to each one’s need.
(Exodus 16:18)
As a young
Christian, be careful in your attitude about offerings.
You came to Jesus to gain the kingdom of God and you disowned the kingdom
of the world. You can’t go to God
and ask for the world, because you are still young in the Lord.
I love the Lord and want to help in anyway I can to strengthen and build
His kingdom for His glory. I believe
in tithing and giving offering and all my needs have always been met.
I am very grateful when my bills are paid and I walk in health and love,
I am prosperous.
The
prosperity message is truth, but you have the devil perverting it.
The devil’s job is to divide the Christian from God and other Christians,
and he works with disappointment and discouragement.
God has prospered this nation, because America is still preaching the
gospel to other nations. In your
early years try to focus on holiness unto the Lord, this has eternal value and
if someone wants to make you feel guilty about not believing for more than
enough so you can give more to God.
Look at the attitude of Jesus with the widow you gave her two mites.
So He said, “Truly I say to you that this
poor widow has put in more than all; for all these out of their abundance have
put in offering for God, “but she out of her poverty put in all the livelihood
that she had.” (Luke 21:3-4)
God owns everything on this earth.
He created it. The goods of
the world stay in the world, we will pass on.
We don’t really own anything God owns it all.
I love to give offering to God, but for the right reason, because I love
Him, and I want the gospel to be preached to every living person.
About
600,000 children of Israel left Egypt and two or .0003%, entered into the
Promised Land. Be of good cheer, God
was leading the children of Israel from the outside, and you are led from the
inside and have the written word of God.
There are leaders in the body of Christ that have made it to the promise
land, the land of more than enough.
The Christians in the promise land appear to speak the word of God, live the
word of God and act on the word of God.
When they open their mouths the word of God comes out because it is in
their hearts. I’m still in the wilderness, but I have a promise land in site and
truly as long as Jesus is with me, He makes the wilderness beautiful, because He
is wonderful. The wilderness
training is preparing me for the giants in the promise land.
Giants can be: pride, lust, greed, sexual sin, unforgiveness, bitterness,
and self-centeredness, just to name a few.
You must fight the giants, so in time, by the grace of God, you will keep
the victory. Be careful not to use
your faith to pull you back into the material world.
The main
focus is on attaining spiritual victories, victory over self-centeredness.
The temporal blessing will occur as your spiritual life develops.
God has prefect harmony, order, and love in His kingdom. Don’t give up on
your Christian walk because one area isn’t working.
But seek first the Kingdom of God
and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you. (Matthew
7:33) I’m not trying to discourage you, from tithing or giving offerings. Just
obey God not greed. If you sacrifice
to God without God’s grace it might draw you away from God not towards Him.
One way to
defeat, greed and materialism is by giving.
The main point is don’t give up on God or your salvation because the
prosperity message didn’t work for you.
You didn’t come to God Almighty to get rich, you came because you were a
sinner in need of salvation. Love
Jesus for Jesus, He is worthy. The
pearl of a great price is the presence of God.
God Almighty will supply all of your needs.
You belong to Him, He will provide for His own, trust Him.
If you are
not well rooted in the Lord, at any point the world might get you back.
"I know your works, your labor, your
patience, and that you cannot bear those who are evil.... Nevertheless I have
this against you, that you have left your first love (Revelations 2:2-4).
In this fast pace environment, the Lord Jesus is the only heart rest and
peace we can rely on; don't give Him up for anything.
We will be judged by how much we love, yet all love flows from Him,
doesn't it stand to reason, that we must spend our lives in Him, truly living in
Him.
But with most of them God was not well pleased,
for their bodies were scattered in the wilderness.
Now these things became our examples, to the intent that we should not
lust after evil things as they also lusted.
(1 Corinthians 10:5-6)
If God was not well pleases it is best to find out why.
And do not become idolaters, as
were some of them. As it is written,
“The people sat down to eat and drink, and rose up to play.” (1 Corinthians
10:7) An idol is any person or thing blindly adored or worshipped, or anything
you place above God. An idol could
be a TV show, a child, a spouse, personal comfort, money, security, yourself,
sex, people opinion of you, or cleanliness of your house.
Anything you would put before God is an idol. If God is asking you to do
something, and you say, I can’t because of “___” Whatever the because of “___”
is an idol.
Nor let us commit sexual immorality, as some of
them did, and in one day twenty-three thousand fell: (1 Corinthians 10:8)
Flee sexual immorality.
Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual
immorality sins against his own body.
Or do you not know that our body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is
in you, whom you have from God, and you are not your own?
For you were bought at a price; therefore glorify God in your body and in
your spirit, which are God’s (1
Corinthians 6:18-20) Sexual immorality is anything from sex outside of marriage
to masturbation. Masturbation is a
sin and it is really self-abuse. We
need to live by God’s standards not the world’s standards.
If something makes you feel bad after you have done it, then if can’t be
good for you. Sin has a tendency to
grow with time. If you don’t have
self-control with self, then how can you expect to have self-control when you
have external pressures? The sin of
masturbation could lead to adultery.
Addiction to nicotine or caffeine could lead to other drugs.
We are not wrestling with the act itself, but the spirit behind the act,
the spirits of addiction and sexual prevention.
Nor let us tempt Christ, as some of them also
tempted, and were destroyed by serpents; (1
Corinthians 10:9) Israel had a victory over their enemy and they defeated the
Canaanites. Israel continued to
journey and the “soul of the people
became very discouraged on the way.
And the people spoke against God and Moses…. So the Lord sent fiery serpents
among the people, (Numbers 21:4-5) A serpents is a type of Satan.
If Israel would of listened to God in the first place, they would have
been in the promise land by now.
However, they were discouraged in the wilderness and they blamed God.
In my walk with the Lord I have missed His leading and found myself on
the wrong path. If I blame God
because something bad happens, I would have opened the door for the enemy.
I can’t blame God for my shortcomings.
If I do and don’t repent quickly enough I could end up in a worse
situation. The place to be is dead to self and alive to Christ.
Then if something should happen it won’t hurt you, because you are dead
to it. You can’t hurt a dead man.
The Lord
God will develop your faith with small victories, gradually moving to larger and
larger victories. Jesus is the author and finisher of our faith and He is always
kind and considerate never pushy.
Nor complain, as some of them also complained,
and were destroyed by the destroyer. (1
Corinthians 10:10) The verse also
said the destroyer destroyed them.
Complaining is murmuring and you will lose something.
Complaining is not faith, it does not believe in the goodness and grace
of God. For every one thing that we
complain about, God probably saved us from ten other things we didn't know
about. Love does not parade itself, and God is love.
A sheep
will know the voice of the Good Shepherd, but a lamb may not, always reference
everything to the Word of God, continue to confess that you know the voice of
the Good Shepherd and follow His voice, and the voice of a stranger you will not
follow. Almighty Father wants to
fellowship with His people, and work is always being accomplished in His
communicating. God is a Spirit; He
will mainly communicate directly with your spirit. God will also communicate
with your soul and body. Whether it is the written word of Almighty Father or
the spoken word, it is always best to promptly obey the Voice of God and don't
add to it or take away from it. If
and only if you are sure it is the Lord speaking.
If you are not sure it is the Lord, then wait until you are sure it is
the Lord. Now, if you know it is the
Lord, it is best to promptly obey Him. The longer you delay the harder it is to
obey. Abraham arose early the next
day. Now, if Abraham delayed and
asked Sarah, if she thought he was hearing from the Lord to sacrifice Isaac.
Do you think we would be called the seed of Abraham? Always make sure you
are hearing from God. Also, inquire
when God wants it done. While in
prayer God spoke to me to give a friend a bible at a jail.
By obeying that prompting it opened a five-year ministry for me.
If the Lord
prompts you to give twenty dollars to an organization, then fifteen or
twenty-five would be disobedience.
The voice of the Holy Spirit is the voice of God Almighty on this earth.
If you want God to bless you, then obey Him.
If the Lord prompts you to witness to a person, then that person's heart
is ready to receive the word of God.
The reapers must be as careful as the sower, if both are to share in the
rewards. Once you step out in faith,
the Lord’s grace will empower you.
"For as many as are led by the Spirit of God,
they are the sons of God." The Spirit
of God will speak to your mind, but care must be taken, because your flesh and
Satan also speak to your mind. The
written word is the foundation and the spoken word of the Holy Spirit is for
guidance and the two must work together and be in agreement.
The written word is a road map, and the spoken word is the route. The
written word of God says not to forsake the assembly of yourselves.
The spoken word of God is the Holy Spirit leading you to the right
church. A young Christian can end up
totally out of the will of God by listening to the wrong spirit.
I lost an
object and was prompted to seek the Holy Spirit’s guidance. I thought it was
unholy because the occult finds missing objects.
But my spirit started singing, “I can do anything better than him.”
The only thing limiting God working in our lives is our beliefs and
actions. Jesus is still helping me
find lost objects. Also, He is
leading me to some of His people that are lost and need to find Jesus again.
It is so
very important to be in the right Church, Father's word said that He will give
you a shepherd after His own heart, pray and trust Him to lead you to the right
church and start being faithful in that church. It is always important to obey
the spiritual authority that God has set over you.
If you disobey that authority, even if God is prompting you differently,
you have disobeyed God. The
spiritual authority should be obeying the word of God.
Another benefit of the church is that the mature Christians pray in the
behalf of the young Christians, the elders act as a spiritual covering, and you
have fellowship with other believers.
The Lord's
prompting will follow the law of love.
Scripture will line up with scripture, Satan likes to take an isolated
scripture and lead many Christian astray.
Don't let this happen to you; spend time in the Word of God.
If you can buy the bible on tape or CD, listen to it many times over,
ignorance will kill.
Two or
three witnesses will confirm all truths or doctrine. The Old Testament is a
shadow of the New Testament. Does it agreed with your spirit, not your mind? Is
there another man of God teaching the same thing?
The Lord will reveal things to you in more than one way, and confirm what
He revealed to you, by several methods, the bible, your Pastor, books, and
teaching tapes.
The Lord's
prompting will glorify God Almighty Father never yourself or man.
If you are glorifying a man or yourself, the prompting is coming from
Satan. Beware he's about to use you,
don't let that happen. Always reach
out to people, as the Lord would. He
is kind and gentle with all. The Lord Jesus may prompt you to comfort and
encourage, but never gloried. Never grieve the Holy Spirit that dwells within,
we must always glorify Almighty Father, never man. Pride will kill.
Never speak
hurtful things or judge a fellow Christian. I remember a comment I overheard
coming from a Christian and I felt really bad and went to the Lord to justify
myself, listing several reasons why it was so. Did I feel justified, no, I
forgave them, and learned not to judge, because only the Lord knows why we are
the way we are and if He accepts us, and then we should accept each other.
The Lord Jesus sees the hurt that our comments cause His other children.
I don't want to be guilty of someone crying out to the Lord on the count
of me. I know the Lord Jesus is
still working on me and probably other Christians or we would of put this world
under His feet along time ago.
Satan will
try to divide and conquer you, by separating you from other Christians.
Satan uses Christians to fight Christians because a house divided against
itself will fall. And once we stop
fighting each other and turn our attention to Him, as the true enemy.
The world will be under Jesus’ feet and then the end will come.
If you are not sure it is God speaking to you, ask what would love do.
Love covers a multitude of sins.
Love suffers long and is kind;
love does not envy; love does not parade itself, is not puffed up; does not
behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked, thinks no evil; does not
rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth; bears all things, believes all
things, hopes all things, endures all things.
Love never fails. (1
Corinthians 13:4-8) Whatever
you think God is asking of you, does it agree with love?
A very important fact to
remember is: all power both in heaven and earth was given to Lord Jesus; Jesus
shares His authority with His Church.
And I also say to you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build
My church, and the gates of Hades shall not prevail against it.
And I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven, and whatever you
bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be
loosed in heaven. (Matthew
16:18-19) Lord Jesus reigns in the
Heavens and His children reign on the earth.
If you don’t take authority over evil on earth, then Jesus can’t in the
heavens. Satan does not have
authority over the Church, Lord Jesus is the Head of the Church – King of Kings.
The term bind refers to make fast with a band or bond, to put under legal
obligation. We have authority over
the evil in our lives. The Lord sometimes
convicts me of being more dedicated to work than Him.
Like if I need to start work early, I arrive on time, yet to get up early
and pray, I go back to sleep. Who is
the boss in my life? I should treat
God much better than my boss at work.
If I can go to work five days a week, surely I can attend church two
times a week.
In which you once walked according to the course
of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit who
now works in the sons of disobedience. (Ephesians
2:2). Satan is not a god; he is a created being.
Know your enemy, the angels of the Lord are mighty. And Satan is the
prince of deception, if that was not the case than none of God's children would
be in hell. In a real battle, it is
dangerous to underestimate the enemy.
He comes as a terror in the night; he is the father of lies, yet he can
clothe himself as the morning star.
Satan will attack you in any area that is not submitted to Jesus and blame it on
God. If you agree with Satan that
God did it. You would be double-minded.
How can you expect God’s help when God did it?
Jesus was able to sacrifice Himself because He was fully rooted in the
fact that God loved Him. He was
secure in God. If you think God is
causing your troubles or pains, who are you going to be secure in, self?
No, security cannot be in a dead man.
We must be secure in the fact that God loves us and is for us.
Satan will
use sympathy to get you into sin, he will start you thinking well poor old me,
and I should have a right to do it, or have it, whatever the case may be. Satan
will appeal to self. The best thing
to remember is, let nothing be more important than your relationship with
Almighty Father, Lord Jesus, and the Holy Spirit.
Not even how much you do for God, because that is works, not how much God
used you, because that is pride, not even the want of love, because that is
lustful, or how good you are, because that is self-righteousness.
Any strong
desire can be used against your walk with Almighty Father and the Lord Jesus.
Satan wants you in sin to separate you from God.
When we sin, we are in the enemy’s territory.
Any act of disobedience or self-will whether it is an unloving thought,
word or action is sin and unconfessed sin will hurt you.
You must be God centered for the victorious life, a life full of the
fruits of the spirit. Your love of
God must be stronger than your love of self, and sin is selfish.
Almighty
Father has more angels, than Satan has demons, but you can limit your angel(s)
ability to protect you by your actions, thoughts and words. The angels obey the
word of God, when spoken in faith and trust in Almighty Father.
Fear and doubt will feed Satan's power over you, while faith and trust
will increase Almighty Father power in your life.
You can't change the amount of power they have, just the amount of power
operating in your life. We can't limit God, but we can limit His ability to help
and protect us.
For whom He foreknew, He also predestined to be
conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the firstborn among many
brethren (Romans 8:29).
Our goal is to be changed from glory to glory until we are in the image
of Jesus Christ, the Son of God.
Have you been scorn or accused and answered not a word?
Have you been hit and split upon, and not strike back? Did your friends
betray or abandon you? Yet you still
loved them. He was misunderstood,
yet He has infinite understanding.
Are you willing to be put to shame for the sake of Jesus Christ?
Before
Jesus was arrested and crucified He prayed this prayer.
Father, the hour has come, glorify Your Son, that Your Son also may
glorify You, as You have given Him authority over all flesh, that He should give
eternal life to as many as You have given Him. And this is eternal life that
they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom You have sent. I
have glorified You on earth. I have finished the work, which You have given Me
to do. And now, O Father, glorify Me together with Yourself, with the glory
which I had with You before the world was.
(John 17:1-5)
Jesus’ death and resurrection gave the authority on the earth back into the
hands of born again believers. Almighty Father recreates our spirits in His
likeness and He dwells within us to ensure that we use His authority to fulfil
His plan and purpose on His earth. If you are not walking in love and
controlling your tongue, you can't expect more of His Holy Spirit.
When we walk with Jesus, He enables us to walk in love.
Pray never
to be a tool for the evil one. Satan
doesn't have any power over the church so he uses Christians to fight one
another, by bitterness, unforgiveness, gossip, slaughter, envy, etc.,
We, as children of God, are commanded to walk in love. You are the temple
of Almighty Father and it must be kept clean. Once you tasted the goodness of
God, your very spirit will begin to cry out for more God. In order to get more
God; you have to give up the selfish nature, or fleshly nature.
The world
didn't need another me, what the world needs now is more Jesus.
I don't become Jesus, I will always be me, but I will develop a
single-mindedness to obey God by abiding in Christ Jesus. Jesus always did what
was pleasing to the Father. We must
live to please Jesus and not ourselves. We serve Lord Jesus by serving others.
You were born again in an instant. You have the Holy Spirit inside of you.
Obedience is the highest form of worship. Stayed focused on Jesus.
If you have all light in you, then darkness can’t abide in you.
If we focus on Jesus and have good desires in our hearts, then we will
shine like the light, and be a witness for Jesus.
Never focus on evil or bad; always glorify Jesus and goodness.
Unforgiveness shouldn't be an issue for a Christian.
We are commanded to esteem each other higher than ourselves and walk in
love. If you are walking in love, the power of Almighty Father is protecting you
from hurt or disappointment. I’m not stating you won’t be in situation that
would cause another person pain, but the love of God will protect your soul from
the pain and use the pain for your benefit.
When we still feel pain, we are not dead to self in that area.
We shouldn’t be void of emotions, we should laugh with those who laugh
and weep with those who weep. Jesus is our shield, and our exceeding great
reward. We should strive to
reach a point in our lives that each thought and action is done for the love of
Almighty Father and Lord Jesus; "self" is not an issue.
If you are
having trouble forgiving seek God and confess to Him, I know I need to forgive
them and I want to, but I need help.
I ask to forgive them in Jesus’ name with the power of the Holy Spirit.
Lord God has blessed me with the spirit of forgiveness. Fight
unforgiveness, pride, and bitterness as if it was a deadly disease, because it
is. It will deaden the flow of Holy
Spirit's power to give you the joy of the Lord in fullness.
If you forgive the sins of any, they are forgiven
them; if you retain the sins of any, they are retained. (John 20:23)
Jesus carries the sins of the world.
If we refuse to forgive a brother in the Lord, Jesus will carry that sin.
For if you forgive men their trespasses,
your heavenly Father will also forgive you.
But if you do not forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father
forgive your trespasses.
(Matthew 6:14-15) We need to forgive others including ourselves.
It is the
atoning power of the blood of Jesus that allows us access into the most Holy of
holies. One time, I saw the
brightest light ever, and I knew it was the glory of God.
Then I thought something negative about myself, I forgot exactly what it
was, but it was a negative thought.
I saw the blood of Jesus coming towards me; it was alive, this big red mass
moving towards me. Then the vision
ended, I took my attention off the glory and unto the Blood of Jesus.
I know the blood of Jesus is alive and very real.
I also learned that God doesn’t like it when we think badly of ourselves,
because Jesus lives in us and God sees us through Jesus and it is like thinking
something negative about Jesus, or His progress in our lives.
If you need
help in any area of your life you can ask God for the grace to improve.
Ask God for the grace to be a better parent, Christian, or spouse.
God will give us the grace we need to serve Him.
If you need more boldness to witness for the Lord, ask Him for a holy
boldness.
My little children, these things I write to you,
so that you may not sin. And if anyone sins, we have an Advocate with the
Father, Jesus Christ the righteous. And He Himself is the propitiation for our
sins, and not ours only but also for the whole world. Now by this we know that
we know Him, if we keep His commandments (1 John
2:1-3). But if we walk in light as He is
in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ
His Son cleanses us from all sin. If
we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.
If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins
and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1
John 1:7-9) The blood of Jesus will cleanse us from all sin, if we ask for
forgiveness, decide in our minds not to sin anymore, and we have forgiven all
others. Even if you have sinned the
same sin, if you asked for forgiveness, sincerely, then to God it is like the
first time, because other times have been forgiven and forgotten.
The love of God and the atoning power of Jesus blood are so great, that
God always forgives and forgets completely, when we completely forgive anyone
whom has done us wrong.
Once you
have tasted the goodness of Almighty God the desire to sin will fade. But if we
sin, always run back to Almighty Father and ask for forgiveness and turn away
from your sin. Satan will try to convince you, that you have committed a sin
that God will not forgive. That
simply is not true, especially if you are a young Christian.
When I was still young in the Lord, I sinned and Satan tried to convince
me that God would never forgive me.
I also found the following bible verse, which seemed to agree with what the
devil was saying. For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have
tasted the heavenly gift, and have become partakers of the Holy Spirit, and have
tasted the good word of God and the power of the age to come, if they fall away,
to renew them again to repentance, since they crucify again for themselves the
Son of God, and put Him to an open shame. (Hebrews 6:4-6)
If I would have agreed with Satan and given up on my salvation early in
my walk with the Lord. I would of
started living like I never knew Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior and I would
have been lost forever in hell, within the first few months.
I thank God for good churches and Pastors who speak the truth about God.
Believe
that Almighty Father will forgive you if you confess your sin and repent.
Jesus didn't die just to lose you again.
If your newborn baby does something wrong would you stop loving and
caring for them. How much more does our Heavenly Father love you?
I am not giving you permission to sin; we should honor the Almighty
Father by always walking in love. If we walk in love we will be obeying His
commandments. Jesus had to die a
terrible death because of sin, never sin intentionally.
There is one sin that the
bible states as being unforgivable and I believe that sin is the rejection of
Jesus Christ. As long as you love the Lord Jesus and you are trying not to sin,
you are still saved. Jesus will
forgive you. Jesus knows whether you
are fighting sin or submitting to it.
Do you not know that to whom you present
yourselves slaves to obey, you are that one’s slaves whom you obey, whether sin
to death, or of obedience to righteousness?
(Romans 6:13) Sin will separate you
from God, and place you in the enemy camp.
If you are in sin, you are a slave of Satan.
The wages of sin is death
(spiritual death or separation from God), but the gift of God is eternal life in
Christ Jesus our Lord. (Romans 6:23)
You don’t have to stay in the enemy camp, if you ask God to forgive you,
repent of the sin and claim the blood of Jesus for the forgiveness of sin.
God will forgive you. You can
request the grace of God to overcome that sin.
Condemnation will keep you in the enemy camp, because you have not
forgiven yourself. God keeps His
word, if He said, “If we confess our
sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all
unrighteousness.” You can be
sure that you are forgiven.
(1 John 1:9)
But your iniquities (wickedness) have separated you from your God; and
your sins have hidden His face from you, so that He will not hear. (Isaiah
59:2) …And my sin is always before me. (Psalm 51:3)
The Holy
Spirit dwells within us, the more we desire to have the Holy Spirit, the more we
must abide in Christ Jesus. Jesus said,
“I have come as a light into the world, that whoever believes in Me should not
abide in darkness.” (John 13:46)
What does Lord Jesus said about sin REMOVE IT from your life. Sin will destroy
your life and your walk with God. No Father wants to see their children hurt,
and sin brings death. Never desire
to seek your own, but in all things please God. It is true that His love covers
a multitude of sin, but we must have a pure and clean heart before Almighty
Father. Never give up and never give
in, keep fighting sin. You were
given authority over the enemy and need to use that authority to keep sin out of
your life and help to free other people. Each temptation can be used as
resistance to strengthen your spiritual muscles.
“Simon, Simon! Indeed, Satan has asked for you, that he may sift you as
wheat. But I have prayed for you,
that your faith should not fail; and when you have returned to Me strengthen
your brethren.” (Luke 22:31-32)
God does not tempt, Satan does.
Satan tempted Saint Peter into denying Jesus, not once but three times.
After the denial I would imagine Satan continued to condemn and taunt
Peter. After we sin, if we don’t run
back to God, we are fighting a battle of condemnation and guilt.
It is best to confess our sins as soon as possible and seek forgiveness.
The Lord
Jesus will never give up on you and will continue to meet you where you are at,
and teach you His ways and thoughts.
We should be willing to learn, if we are to grow in the Lord. The closer you
walk with Almighty Father and Lord Jesus the less sin you will have in your
life, all evil must flee in the presence of a Holy God.
I believe
that Satan puts sickness upon us, one reason is we opened the door by sinning,
or we are under attack by Satan, He is trying to put out the fire we have for
the Lord Jesus. Almighty God will
not make you sick, He might remove His protection, because there is something in
your life that needs to be corrected and sickness will get your attention.
A Holy God requires a Holy people. I am talking a spirit-led holiness and
not works, just be obedience to His prompting.
Almighty God will speak to your spirit, soul, or body.
We punish
ourselves by sinning. The Holy Spirit has a unique ways of getting your
attention, sometimes by a holy fire on your behind.
The Holy Spirit would rather have you feel a little now, to get your
attention, then to have your whole entire body burn in Hell.
Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he
will flee from you. Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your
hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded. Lament and mourn
and weep! Let your laughter be turned to mourning and your joy to gloom. Humble
yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and He will lift you up. (James 4:7-10)
When a Christian sins against Almighty God, you open the door for Satan
to enter your life. Satan comes to kill, steal and destroy.
Don’t be the Christian that resists God, submits to the devil and the
presence of the Lord leaves. You are
still God’s child; the enemy has just taken you captive.
Sin is
always selfish, we can't sin for someone else, we sin for self, remove the
self-seeking attitude and the majority of sin will not be a temptation.
If we refuse to forgive, including forgiving ourselves, Jesus has to
carry the burden. If we hurt another
Christian, Jesus carries the pain.
If we bless one another, Jesus partakes in the blessing.
When we help each other, we help Jesus.
If we judge one another we judge the work of Jesus in their lives.
I fought
the same sin for years, each time I felt the temptation arise, I would get
fearful, then start quoting the word of God.
Pleading with Jesus to help me overcome. I would sometimes pace the
floors praying and pleading the blood of Jesus.
Yet I would sin until I changed my attitude about the sin.
I saw myself as a helpless victim to the sin.
I would even be upset at Jesus for letting me sin.
Then this verse hit me: If I
regard iniquity in my heart, The Lord will not hear.
(Psalm 66:18) I didn’t want
to sin I was fighting the sin, but after reading that verse I checked my heart.
I had a heart change. I was
angry at the sin, at the first sign of temptation, I would take authority over
the evil and command it to leave in Jesus’ name.
I didn’t plead with evil to leave.
I commanded it to leave in Jesus’ name.
I finally started to operate in the authority God has given me over the
powers of darkness. I was in an attitude of faith in God, not fear of failure.
I say that the blood of Jesus is against evil, I have the armor of God
on, and I use the sword of the spirit.
All of these powerful weapons should be used with a pure heart, a heart
filled with the love of God.
And it came to pass, when he was in a certain
city, behold a man full of leprosy: who seeing Jesus fell on his face, and
besought him, say, Lord, if thou wilt, thou canst make me clean.
And he put forth his hand, and touched him, saying, I will: be thou clean (Luke
5:12) While Jesus walked on the earth in the flesh, He never made anyone sick.
Jesus always did what pleased the Father and healed people, who came to
Him for healing.
And whatever things you ask in prayer, believing
you will receive (Matthew 21:22)
For assuredly, I say to you, whosoever
says to this mountain, “Be removed and be cast into the sea.” and does not doubt
in His heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have
whatever he says, therefore, I say to you, whatever things you ask when you
pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them.
“and whenever you stand praying, if you have anything against anyone,
forgive him, that your Father in heaven may also forgive you your trespasses.
But if you do not forgive, neither will your Father in heaven forgive
your trespasses. (Mark 11:22-26)
There are many ways to be healed.
Some Christian ask God in Jesus’ name to be healed and they are healed, others
needs another Christian to lay hands on them, others need to visit a doctor.
Other times a demon is causing the sickness and asking God to heal you
will not help the illness. We must
take authority over the evil and command it to leave in the name of Jesus.
Then pray to God to heal any damage done by the evil thing. Some healings
are instant; some are overnight, or a few days.
A Christian should resist sickness and disease.
“And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their
testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death.” (Revelation
12:11)
God does not make us
sick. Sickness and disease can
attack your body for many reasons, some are: you live on earth, you are in sin
and you know it, you are under attack, your soul is in torment and if is
effecting your health, or you are in known disobedience to the will of God. If
the curse clings there is a cause.
Disobedience to God places you in the enemy camp and the enemy is allowed to put
sickness upon you. Now, you can
resist it in the Name of Jesus by the blood of Jesus.
This does not mean that if you are sick you are sin.
When sickness comes upon you the best thing to do is pray to find out the
cause, if it is an attack, resist it, if it is sin, repent or if it is an
attitude problem change it.
God wants
His people in health and prosperity.
Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in
all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers. (3 John 2)
Healing whether it is instant or takes time, it is from God Almighty.
You can achieve divine health by submitting to God and staying in His
presence. God considers our bodies to be His temple and evil spirits consider
our bodies their homes. We must not
defile the temple of the Lord God, or keep any idols in His temple.
For consider Him who endured such hostility from
sinners against Himself, lest you become weary and discouraged in your souls.
You have not yet resisted to bloodshed,
striving against sin. (Hebrews
12:3-4) I battle against temptation asking Jesus to strengthen me. Jesus shed
His blood resisting sin therefore His blood has power over sin.
If I sin thinking the Lord will forgive me by the Blood of Jesus, I put
the Spirit of Grace to shame. I am
talking about open sin, which is disobedience. The
last time I didn’t resist and just gave into the temptation, thinking God wanted
me too. (I just wasn’t thinking
straight) I ended up being sick for
a few days. God did not make me sick
for sinning. But sin will reduce
your spiritual strength that you need to fight off an attack from the enemy.
The wages of sin is death, death being spiritual separation from God.
The Lord forgives you easier, if you didn’t know you where doing the
wrong thing. Healing comes from God
and sometimes after we sin, our spirits are too ashamed or frightened to go to God
and ask for healing. Our minds are
praying and asking for healing, but our spirits are in bondage until we can
convince them by the word of God, that God wants us healed.
As a young
Christian, I was in sin, but it was out of ignorance.
I had an inward knowing that something wasn’t right, but I kept hearing,
it’s ok; it’s in the back of the bible.
Well after I finished reading the bible, this took awhile, I found out
that it wasn’t in there and I was deceived.
My people are destroyed for lack
of knowledge. (Hosea 4:6) I have
learned that if something doesn’t seem right to me, it is best not to do it and
wait on the Lord. The devil will
push you, but God will prompt you.
We can reason ourselves out of doing the right thing, just as surely as we can
reason ourselves into doing the wrong thing.
Confess that the law of My God is
in my heart, and none of my steps shall slide.
(Psalms 37:31)
An evil
spirit can actually attach itself to your body, bringing on sickness and pain.
Your nature might begin to change; you can sense angry, frustration or a
number of negative emotions. If your
nature changes seek Almighty God in the name of Jesus because evil will bring
decay, ask God in the name of Jesus to be healed.
In the presence of God command the evil spirit to leave you in the Name
of Jesus and send it to the dry place forever. Lord God wants you healthy,
physically, emotionally, and spiritually.
If you have pain in any of these areas seek Jesus.
He can heal you, and if sin is causing the pain, repent and be healed.
Just as God
prompts and the devil pushes, the Holy Spirit will convict while the devil
condemns. Conviction will make you
want to change because you love Lord God Almighty.
While condemnation will make you feel unworthy and ashamed.
Satan will counterfeit the real thing. He isn’t a creator.
He is a perverter. If you are
under conviction fighting Satan isn’t going to help the situation.
Likewise, if you are under condemnation by Satan, confessing your sin to
the Lord over and over isn’t going to bring you into victory.
In fact, not accepting His forgiveness can become sin, because you didn’t
believe the word of God.
If you are abusing your body, repent,
and establish a healthy life style, for the glory of God.
I can’t expect God to make me debt free while I continue to use my
credit cards. Likewise, if I’m
believing for a healing I can’t ignore all the health rules like eating fruits
and vegetables, raw, and drinking plenty of water and taking a multivitamin and
multimineral supplement.
In the
absence of light, darkness is created, which brings sickness and disease and
every evil thing. The Holy Spirit
does not leave us, but is grieved by the sin and does withdraw from our
conscience.
For this reason many are weak and sick
among you, and many sleep. For if we
would judge ourselves we would not be judge (1 Corinthians 11:30-31),
See, you have been made well.
Sin no more, lest a worse thing come upon you (John 5:14)
Confess your trespasses to one another, and pray for one another, that
you may be healed (James 5:16) A Holy God desires a holy people. I am
talking spirit led holiness and not works, by being obedient to His prompting.
"I am the true vine, and My Father is the
vinedresser. Every branch in Me that does not bear fruit He takes away; and
every branch that bears fruit He prunes, that it may bear more fruit. Verse 6
...If anyone does not abide in Me, he is cast out... and throw them in the fire,
and they are burned. Verse 7 If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you
will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you. (John
15:1-8) The only way you can be a branch in Jesus is to be born again, but this
is only the first step. God sets
before us a choice you can abide with Jesus and be blessed or you cannot abide
and be cursed by being thrown in the fire, Hell.
Work out your own salvation with fear and
trembling; for it is God who works in you both to will and to do for His good
pleasure. (Philippians 2:12-13) We are not our
own but belong to the Lord Jesus.
Any area of our life that is not submitted to Lord Jesus or we refuse to give
Him is stealing from Him. We were
once slaves to sin, now we are slaves of righteousness. For to whom you present yourselves slaves to obey, you are that one's
slaves whom you obey, whether of sin leading to death, or of obedience leading
to righteousness? (Romans 16).
Almighty Father in all of His wisdom set it up this way because of His great
love. He knows the dangers of
stepping out on your own, without the direction and guidance of the Holy Spirit.
For it is impossible for those who were once
enlighten, and have tasted the heavenly gift, and have become partakers of the
Holy Spirit, and have tasted the good word of God and the powers of the age to
come, if they fall away, to renew them again to repentance, since they crucify
again for themselves the Son of God, and put Him to an open shame.
(Hebrews 6:4-6)
This is to the mature Christian, who after serving the Lord for years, knowing
that Jesus is the only way to heaven, having a relationship with Jesus, being
filled with the Holy Spirit, having the gifts of the Spirit in there lives. They
denounce Jesus and turns away from Him to go back into the world.
This does not speak to backsliders, because the backslider is always
welcomed back to the Lord. My definition of a backslider is a Christian that
quit growing in the Lord and learning about the word of God, and the old nature
began to creep back in. I believe that in your heart there is a certain point in
which you are lost forever. If the
rapture should come while you are in the backslidden condition, you will be left
behind.
“If
anyone worships the beast and his image, and receives his mark on his forehead
or on his hand, he himself shall also drink of the wine of the wrath of God,
which is poured out full strength into the cup of His indignation.
He shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy
angels and in the presence of the Lamb.
And the smoke of their torment ascends forever and ever; and they have no
rest day or night, who worship the beast and his image, and whoever receives the
mark of his name." (Revelation 14:9)
You can be a born again believer and go to hell if you receive the mark
of the beast, don't blame God Almighty, He warned you.
God's word is law and He will fulfil it, not against of His great mercy,
but because of it. If God would go
back on His word, then the worlds would cease to be, because the worlds was
formed by the word of God.
Then who
can be saved, the Word of God says with man it is impossible but with God
nothing is impossible. Jesus needs to be Lord of your life.
Keep your heart pure before Almighty Father; you will keep your
salvation. Pray to Almighty Father to create in you a clean and pure heart and
to remove all the darkness from your life and to show you any unknown sin.
Stay close to Jesus, develop your relationship with Him and let Him be
your strength. You should be
obedient to His prompting and continually feeding your mind with His word.
We need Jesus; He is our righteousness and strength.
Jesus loves you very much
and He wants to keep you, He didn’t save you, just to lose you.
It is your responsibility not to lose sight of Jesus and His commandments
to love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your
strength, with your entire mind, and love your neighbor as yourself. We are in
the Kingdom of God; we have a responsibility to serve the King.
Jesus will guide and direct your path, by the leading of the Holy Spirit.
At the end
we will be judged not on what we did, but on how much we loved.
How much we loved Almighty Father and Lord Jesus and His children, did we
love the lost souls of this world? Where we obedient to Jesus even to the point
of suffering ourselves? By this all
will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another. Saint
Peter listed the characteristic of the divine nature, having it crowned with
brotherly love. Did we conquer self
and let Jesus live through us.
Almighty
Father desires that His children behave themselves and love one another. All
parents desire that their children love and help each other.
As a parent it grieves me when my children fight amongst themselves, how
much more God. While you are reading
the Word of God, God will open your understanding.
We are able
to fellowship with Almighty Father through the blood of Jesus and His obedience
to the cross. Jesus is able and willing to teach us this same obedience, by His
blood that cries out not my will Father but your will be done.
It is the blood of Jesus that cleanses us and sanctifies us to unite our
will with the will of the Father.
This is victorious living, living in the shadow of the Almighty God.
Don’t blame God for the condition of the world today, it is in the hands
of His people, but Satan is constantly working on dividing the church and sowing
division among the members. Each new
revelation from our Heavenly Father was to strengthen the existing church not to
divide it and cause another denomination.
The early
Prophets must of marveled at this time in history, what a honor it is to be
children of the Most High God to fellowship with Him daily, a free gift that
could not be bought with money, gold or silver, but it was purchased with the
precious Blood of Jesus Christ.
Jesus gave the control of the earth back into the hands of men and sat down at
the right hand of the Father. I pray to Almighty Father that His will be done on
earth as it is in heaven. I pray
that the control of this earth is transferred back to Almighty God our Father,
not my will Father, but your will be done.
I believe this prayer should be in the heart and lips of every believer.
God desires good for His creation. He is a very good God.
All born
again Christians have the Holy Spirit inside of them leading and guiding them
into all truths. Those who are
faithful with the little, God will give them more.
The indwelling of the Holy Spirit is a great responsibility, and you will
be judged for every word idle word you speak.
Satan presents thoughts to you, it is your choice to either accept the
thoughts or reject them. Now if Satan gets enough people thinking on the same
lines, when they are gathered in a group and begin to talk. The thought will
surface and someone will say yeah, I was thinking the same thing just the other
day. Now, you have a group of
believers agreeing on a thought that Satan planted and it is generally something
against another Christian or someone in leadership. This is one method Satan
uses Christians to get his work done on this earth.
Almighty Father commands us to take every thought into captivity to the
obedience of Christ (2 Corinthians 10:5).
This passage is under the heading of Spiritual Warfare.
Satan wants
not only control of your mind, but control of your mouth as well.
Satan doesn't want God's anointing on this earth.
God can't bless us with more of His Holy Spirit, until we control what
comes out of our mouths. In 2King
2:23-24, Elisha pronounced a curse in the Lord's name and bears mauled forty-two
youths. Almighty Father did not
cause the youths to be mauled. Yes
it was the anointing of God, but it was a misuse of His anointing.
Elisha "self" was not crucified, I'm not judging Elisha. If I had that
much anointing, I wouldn’t want to drive in rush hour traffic.
It takes discipline to control your mouth and thoughts, we cry out more
power God Almighty, more of you, but are we willing to be in complete submission
to the Holy Spirit. We are told to
always bless and not curse regardless of what the other person has done to us.
Jesus
cursed the fig tree and it died, if we walked in that much of the anointing, how
many things would die, just because we were in a bad mood. God will only anoint
you to the point that you submit to His will.
The tongue is so set among our members that it
defiles the whole body, and sets on fire the course of nature; and it is set on
fire by hell.
(James 3:6)
We must esteem each other, (including each other's churches) higher than
ourselves. If you are esteeming
someone higher than yourself it is impossible to think or talk badly about him
or her. If we want more God in our lives we must live according to His laws, His
law is to walk in love with Him and His family.
We are servants of each other.
We are of one body, the
body of Christ, intercessory prayer will bless each other by the power of
agreement, but by our idle conversation we can bring harm to each other.
Satan will try to pervert the power of agreement between the Christians.
Not every believer is at the same level in guarding his or her tongue.
You might believe you are under attack by Satan, but it may be your
friends. A person at church just
lost their son to a terrible accident.
Each time the Lord brought this person to my mind. I said He is strong in
the Lord. After months that person
gave a testimony, and among other things he mentioned that he felt strong in the
Lord. That is positive prayer.
Praise God. I thank God that each
time God brought that person to my mind.
I didn’t have an ill thought about them or their situation.
An example of misused
faith is if you are believing for a loved one to be saved and in idle
conversation with friends you state that it will be a miracle if your loved one
ever gets saved. Sometimes
unintentionally your friends can says things against you or your family. If you
think that this is the case pray: Dear Almighty Father you are great and
glorious deserving of all praise. I ask in the name of Jesus that all words,
thoughts, or deeds that have came against me or my family or the perfect will
you have for our lives become null and void and fall to the ground by the blood
of Jesus. I accept only your will for my life and the lives of my children;
Almighty Father, I pray this prayer through Jesus Christ my Lord and Savior.
Amen.
Not everyone who says to Me, "Lord, Lord," shall
enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in Heaven.
Many will say to Me in that day, "Lord, Lord have we not prophesied in Your
name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?' And
then I will declare to them, "I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice
lawlessness!" (Matthew
7:21-23). If these people can cast
out demons and do many wonders in His name, what is wrong with me?
I know Him and they don’t. This really became a challenge for me.
My faith must be rooted and grounded in Him.
Trust
Jesus, adhere to, believe in and rely on Him to be the King of your life.
A complete and total surrender of oneself to a power that is greater,
purer, and more loving then we as individuals would ever be.
This is the beginning of a very successful Christian life.
I have a relationship with Jesus, not a religion.
Any area of
your life that has not been given to the Lord Jesus is a stronghold for Satan in
your life. The Lord warned Israel to clear out the inhabitant so they do not
become a snare for them. The clearing process was a gradual process, as you pass
from glory to glory, as the old temptation are under foot new temptations will
arise, but the Lord assures us of a victory if we obey the voice of the Lord.
On the way
to the promise land, many Israelite died in the wilderness.
Don't let that happen to you.
I ran to the Lord because I knew Hell was real, now His great love and the
beauty of His character keeps me ever so close to Him. But if I should wander,
my mind recalls the pain and torture of Hell.
Pray this prayer: Dear Almighty Father in the name of Jesus if my heart
should wander from you, please give me a revelation of Hell so that I might not
stray from you. Amen.
Your spirit
has been recreated in the likeness of Christ Jesus, now comes the process of
renewing your mind. We can have a piece of heaven here on earth if we rely on
the provisions, strength and righteousness of Christ Jesus as our Lord and
Savior.
Whatever we
do, we must do out of love, for the Lord, whether it is an act of kindness to a
brother, a loving smile, an offering or tithe.
All must be done with love; only love is eternal, because God is love.
Above all else, remember he loves you. When you cry out for help, He is already
at your side. Remember to always say
thank you, for He is working on a plan for you, always guarding and protecting
you.
I
will lie down and sleep in peace, for you, O Lord, make me dwell in safely.
(Psalms 54:8)
By the faith in Jesus
Christ we will enter heaven, our obedience to Jesus will determine our reward in
heaven. We don't earn heaven or the
Lord's love, but we do work for the Lord Jesus out of a love for Him and a debt
owed.
Works is
doing good because I want to be good and I want God to think I’m good.
I work to please God. I do it on my own, by my own goodness bringing
glory to myself. This type of good
works is dead works in God’s eyes.
“I have been crucified with Christ; it is
no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in
the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for
me…” (Galatians 2:20) When you
gave your life to Jesus, you became dead to self; any works produced without the
Spirit of God is dead because it comes from a dead man.
And though I bestow all my goods to feed
the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, but have not love, it profits
me nothing. (1 Corinthians 13:3)
Beloved, let us love one another,
for love is of God; and everyone who loves is born of God and knows God.
He who does not love does not know God, for God is love. (1 John 4:
7-8)
God is
love, and everything done in God’s name should be done in love, and love will
never fail. Jesus wants pure vessel
to flow through to mankind, without the “self” interfering with His work.
Be small in your own sight, so that Jesus can live big in you.
The work belongs to Jesus, not us; we must obey the prompting of our
hearts as long as it lines up with the Word of God. The body of Christ should
work like a well-oiled machine. By
being obedient you can become a mighty tool for the Lord to use for the glory of
God the Father. As opposed to doing
your own thing and getting the glory for yourself.
Let the Holy Spirit guide all of your actions, including giving to His
ministries, He knows which one are effective for His kingdom.
Jesus has plenty of work for you to do, don’t create your own.
Saul saved the best
cattle to sacrifice to God when God said to destroy them all.
It was a good thing, but God didn’t say to do it and God saw it as
disobedience. Obedience is better
than sacrifice.
A man of
God was sent on a mission by God in 1 King chapter 13. King Jeroboam offered the
man of God a reward, but the man of God replied -
“If you were to give me half your
house, I would not go in with you; nor would I eat bread, nor drink water in
this place. “For it was commanded me
by the word of the Lord, saying, “You shall not eat bread, nor drink water, nor
return by the same way you came.’” (1
Kings 13:8-9) So the man of God went on his way.
Until an old prophet went after the man of God saying,
“I too am a prophet as you are, and an
angel spoke to me by the word of the Lord, saying, “Bring him back with you to
your house, that he may eat bread and drink water.’” (He was lying to him.)
(1 Kings 13:18) The man of God
resisted the temptation of a reward, but died for following the old prophet and
not the word of God. So many times
in our walk with God we overcome our flesh, and start to do what God has told us
to do. Once we do this, we have to
overcome someone else flesh. God
didn’t tempt the man of God by the old prophet.
The old prophet was following a different spirit, not God’s Spirit.
God wasn’t trying to test the man of God for obedience.
The man of God lost the battle with Satan and it cost him his life.
Satan will use anyone to get you out of the will of God.
And these Christian don’t mean wrong, they are just following the wrong
spirit. The spirit of the world can
speak to you, if you are tuned in.
It’s coming from the outside of you, not the inside.
This is
part of that narrow road, lined with the fear of God and the love of God.
That narrow road is also line with obeying God rather than man and
submitting to the spiritual authorities that God has placed over you.
If God has placed a person as a representative of Himself, then to obey
them is to obey God. Israel had to
obey Moses and Joshua for the victory.
Likewise, when Ananias and Sapphira lied to Peter, it was like lying to
the Holy Spirit and they dropped dead.
But Peter and the other apostles answered and said; “We ought to obey
God rather than men. (Acts 5:29)
The high priest had commanded Apostle Peter not to speak in the name of Jesus.
If Apostle Peter would of gotten religious and followed the commandments
of the religionist leaders rather than the Spirit of God.
The gospel would of spread more slowly.
If God has placed a spiritual leader in a place of authority over you,
then to obey them is to obey the Lord.
If a spiritual leader is not empowered by God or placed there by God,
then it is better to obey God than them.
Even if that Spiritual leader isn’t hearing from God 100% on everything,
your responsibility is to obey them as you would God.
Jesus is
the head we are the body. We should
be walking where Jesus wants us to walk. In all things we must check our hearts,
does God want me to do this for His glory. Glorify God by obeying His prompting
in your heart. You are working as
unto God Almighty and not for the praises of men.
Never think
or say, look at what I accomplished, because the Lord Jesus has accomplished it
through you. You are only a willing
vessel for the Lord Jesus to accomplish His work on the earth.
The Lord hates haughty eyes.
"The lamp of the body is the eye. If
therefore your eye is good your whole body will be full of light. (Matthew
6:22) A haughty eye will approach
the throne of grace with an attitude, I did this for you, now where is my
blessing. That type of attitude will
take you from grace to works in a heartbeat.
Humility acknowledges your dependence upon God for your victory.
Grace is God’s empowerment to accomplish the task God has told you to do
for Him.
Satan will
try to slander the character of God.
We must have faith in the goodness of God the Father; this type of faith pleases
God.
And we know that all things work together for good to those who love
God, to those who are called according to His purpose.
(Romans 8:28)
Satan cannot create and he has lost all of his power over a born again
believer. The only thing he has left
is deception and to pervert the word of God.
God turns around evil for good. Satan perverts it and turns around good
for evil. God blesses and empowers
His people for good, Satan tries to use pride and envy against Christians so
that they would stumble and fall.
God gives grace to the humble, but resist the proud. God will bless someone and
Satan will stir up jealousy. We must
be sensitive to the prompting of the Holy Spirit.
Grace is undeserved favor
and God's willingness to get involved. Many young Christians start off under
grace, they fully omit that they don't know enough and rely on the Lord and His
word to teach them. A young
Christian can easy tell when they have strayed from the Lord Jesus for too long,
because their old nature starts to creep back in, don’t misunderstand, you are
reborn, but your mind is being renewed to the obedience of God the Father.
When I was
first born again and felt the old nature creep back in my life.
I would seek the Lord Jesus and the old nature would flee, anger and hate
could not exist in His Presence. I
noticed that I could not maintain my peace without seeking the Lord throughout
the day. I thought I was using the
Lord Jesus and would apologize to Him, little did I realize that He was changing
me in His presence, and welcomed my little visits with open arms. Constant
fellowship with Lord Jesus will maintain not only your spirit, but also your
soul and body.
Jesus is the best part of
my life and He is truly the prize at the end of the race to fully abide in Him.
How can we be part of His kingdom without serving the King? Open your lives and
hearts to Him and He will fill you with His goodness. Our spirits must have
oneness with His mighty Spirit in order to have the fruits of the spirit evident
in our lives. He is the vine we are
the branches, it is Jesus' fruit, he is working in you.
Without Jesus in my life I am nothing. Don't be like the fig tree, which
did not bear fruit. I am learning to
abide in Him and He in me, not just a quick visit, but truly abiding.
As you grow
in Christianity and renew your mind to the Word of God. You will develop
characteristic of a Christian and most things done over a consecutive period of
six months will become a habit. As a
babe in the Lord we understand our total dependence on the Lord Jesus, as
toddler, a young Christian might develop the attitude that they can do it on
their own. This group is head for a
lot of falls. Lord Jesus in His
tender mercy and lovingkindness will always pick you up again. But we need to
abide in the Lord Jesus always. We
rely on His righteousness and His grace. All of our actions must be done out of
love for Almighty Father and Jesus Christ, His son. It is His presence in our
lives that make us want to drive out the sin in our lives.
We must cooperate with His spirit and crucify our fleshly desires, giving
His Spirit and desires first places in our lives.
The love of God will give us the ability and desire to obey Him.
He will not take you to the next level until you have mastered the
current level, and never go backwards.
If you do repent and proceed, don’t lay there weeping over the place
where you have fallen, get up and go on.
I can't be
good on my own I need Jesus in my life, a constant infilling of His spirit.
The Holy Spirit teams up with my spirit transforming me into the image of
His Son, Jesus. The new birth took place in a heartbeat, but the sanctification
process will take longer. It is a
death to self, and a life in Jesus Christ.
The definition of sanctify is to make holy; set apart as sacred, to
purify or free from sin, to make productive of or conducive to spiritual
blessing.
At times
you might feel heat on your head, this is way of burning the chaff or sinful
nature from your mind, a purifying process from the Lord Jesus and it is indeed
a blessing so while it is occurring you should be thanking Almighty Father for
the fire. I was never hurt by the experience and always blessed.
I rarely watch television or listen to non-Christian music to show my
appreciation for the purifying process.
It is like giving a child a bath, only to find them out playing in the
dirt again. A good parent will keep
the child cleansed, and so will God, but you must seek Him daily.
This is not to be confused with the fire falling on you in whom your
whole body feels hot, in which I never experienced, but have read and heard
about it.
The Lord
Jesus is building His temple, sin does not belong in there, and it must be
burned up. Don't stumble over minor
pressures or sensations on your head; a great work is being performed.
At first I was scared but the Lord would assure me in the gentlest ways
that it was His doing, sometimes by the sensation of someone holding my hand.
The sensational of liquid running down your head is from the Lord Jesus.
At all times, always give Jesus praise, and try to hold still and be not afraid.
Satan will try to make you think that it is evil, but look at the fruit.
At other
times I felt like an infant being cared for by a gentle and loving Father, but
in the natural I was in my thirties.
It takes faith and trust to allow different things to occur, if you fear or want
no part of these events, they will stop.
God will respect your free will.
He will never force you to do anything; He loves you too much.
He will give you more time, love always hopes for the best. I really
didn't have anyone to ask about certain things, being new to a church.
I could hardly believe them myself, who would believe me if I had a hard
time believing me? It took years
before a friend admitted to me that you would get spanked on the butt for
certain things. In my spirit I knew
it was of God. At first, I claimed
the Blood of Jesus, called upon the name of the Lord, still it continued, until
I decided this must be of God. But
God would never poke you in the butt, that is evil and you must fight and bind
that in the name of Jesus. God might
spank your butt, but evil will poke it.
There are
certain events that can take place but people are not sharing information
because of respectability. Can a
young Christian be attacked by a demon, most certainly and it is not of God
Almighty. I was molested by a demon
for years. It didn’t occur everyday
and it would stop the moment I masturbated.
The demon was sent to get me to stumble and sin.
I was in fear so my faith wasn’t working until I grew in the Lord and was
able to bind it in the Name of Jesus and command it to go. Praise God, I have
power over the enemy in Jesus’ name.
Many have turned from the faith because they have no one to talk to about what
happens to them when they first accept the Lord.
Even in a respectable Christian church they would be considered weird.
So young
Christians go home to fight evil on their own.
I thought I would lose my mind until I found books explaining what was
happening to me. The hardest thing
to deal with is when you are fighting something that you can’t see. I have met a
few others that have had similar experiences; one was in total deception,
thinking that it was Jesus, Himself doing things to them.
This is a total lie from Satan.
If it doesn’t line up with the Word of God, then it is not of God. Jesus
Christ is the Son of God and He is pure and noble.
If this has ever happened to you, please don’t be deceived.
Lord Jesus does not appeal to our sensual nature.
If it is lustful, it is evil, and you need to fight to get free.
If you can’t get free on your own, seek help.
The best thing to do is to plead the blood of Jesus, and know the enemy.
Pray to God to know the true, ask Him to give you wisdom.
Some demons
believe that they own your body and can do what they want to it, but this is not
true, you belong to Lord Jesus.
Demons have no right over you. Don’t
fear them, it is like opening the door, have faith in God.
I cleansed my house of demonic objects and that really helped me in the
battle. I threw out all my cupid
figurines and jewelry items. A cupid
is a figure of a Roman god of erotic love.
Demons can and do attach themselves to statue of idols.
I also had to throw out a T-shirt from the 1982 world’s fair, it had a
strange emblem on it and I believe that was causing me some trouble. Some demons
will use pain, sickness, or pleasure to get you away from God.
I believe being attacked by demons only happens to a small percentage of
the new Christians, because you really don’t see much writing on the subject.
If it is not happening to you be very thankful and don’t judge others who
are struggling with it. As long as
the enemy can hide in the darkness, he will have the victory.
You are more than conquerors through Christ Jesus who loves you so much,
that not only did He die for you; He is willing to live with you forever.
For Your sake we are killed all
day long; We are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.
Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved
us. (Romans 8:36)
As a
Christian you have power over the enemy in Jesus name.
I have been awakened to a pain in my body, I know it is not God causing the
pain. I cry out to God, and then I
begin to rebuke the enemy in Jesus’ name.
The main thing to remember is to abide in the presence of the Almighty
and don’t fear. This is why bad
things happen to Christian, it’s not God punishing them for some hidden sin, it
is evil fighting against them. God
is not the author of confusion; bind the spirit of deception in Jesus’ name.
But He (Jesus) said to him, “Man,
who made Me a judge or an arbitrator over you?”
And He said to them, “Take heed and beware of covetousness,” for one’s
life does not consist in the abundance of the things he possesses.” (Luke
12:14-15)
Evil
spirits know the word of God; believe the word of God yet their faith is not
pleasing to God. Why, Matthew 8:29 "What
have we to do with you Jesus Son of God? Have you come here to torment us before
the time?" The demon faith didn't believe in the integrity of God's word. If
God said He wasn't going to torment the demons at this time. He meant it.
The demon faith was full of fear, not believing the word of God. This
does not please God, as His children must believe His word and not be afraid to
talk to Almighty Father. Almighty
Father is a Holy God, who is seeking a holy people.
The Lord is
never boastful, He will never said I saved you from this, He just does.
We ought to do the same for His other children, just help them without
being proud about it, that's love. Never complain about the Lord not removing
certain obstacles from our paths or saving certain love ones.
Without realizing that the Lord will never do something against another
person’s will, He won't force you to change though He may like you to, therefore
don't except Him to change someone else for your benefit.
The
promises of God are yes and amen, as long as you are reading the promises within
the framework that they were written and intended.
Many promises and blessings are conditional, blessed are those who fear
the Lord. Blessed are the meek in spirit. You will be blessed if you mediated on
my word day and night. Never take an
isolated saying or promise out of content, confess it before God Almighty
Father, and try to hold Him to it, that is prideful and boastful to the Lord God
Almighty and your faith will suffer.
Almighty Father lives in eternity, not bound by the earthly clock, never put a
time limit on God Almighty Father.
His timing is always perfect, just as He is.
I pray to
Almighty God the Father that everyone reading this will share the Good News.
Jesus finished the job for us already.
Let's use our faith to claim holiness so we can bask in the Presence of
Almighty Father and feel His love and peace surrounding us.
There is no greater feeling in this world, then the Presence of GOD, no
greater sense of security then to be under the wing of Almighty GOD the Father,
and Jesus. Let Jesus be Lord of your life.
As in all
relationships, the more time and dedication you put into the relationship by
watering it with love and trust, the more the relationship will grow.
John 16:37 ... the Father Himself loves you because you have loved me and have
believed that I came from God. Lord Jesus wants to help you.
God is a loving God, and He is all goodness.
But may the righteous be glad and rejoice before God; may they be happy
and joyful (Psalms 68:3).
So then, just as you received Christ Jesus as
Lord, continue to live in Him rooted and built up in Him, strengthened in faith
as you were taught, and overflowing with thankfulness. (Colossians
2:6-7) Making Jesus the Lord of your
life was the best decision you have ever made.
Say often, Lord Jesus I am so glad and thankful you are in my life.
Jesus loves to help a thankful and loving heart.
Pray often, read your bible, and say thank you. Throughout your day, if
not moment-by-moment turn your attention to Jesus, your Lord and Savior give Him
not just your life but also your thoughts, bring Him into everything in your
life. Let His light shine upon your
entire life to expose all areas of darkness and one by one, let Jesus cleanse
your life.
This is the
greatest gift of all, that God Himself gave us His precious Spirit to help us
with our daily lives. Jesus gave us
access to Almighty Father God through His Holy Spirit.
We were created to live in an intimate, holy, and loving relationship
with God. We were never created for
heartbreak and pain, but love, peace and joy in the Holy Spirit.
God's Holy Spirit can direct our lives; He wants us to live victoriously,
but His victory, which is victory over sin and self.
While God dwelled with the Israelites, He provided their guidance,
blessing, and victories when they worshipped and obeyed Him.
If you worship Him you will obey Him because His great goodness will
enable you to conquer sin and self.
He is not
against giving you things, but seek after God and let Him add the things to you.
Let the Holy Spirit lead your life.
If we trust Him with our affairs He will let you handle His, because you
have built a foundation of trust and love knowing that He knows what is best.
Many are called, but few are chosen.
Therefore you shall be perfect, just as your
Father in heaven is perfect. (Matthew
5:48) Jesus will never give us a
command that we can’t achieve.
Almighty Father knows we can’t be perfect on our own, which is why Jesus will
help us, with the Holy Spirit. Being perfect is having a perfect heart towards
God. God has given us the desire to
live sin free and He has given us the authority over the evil to maintain that
sin free life. The question is what
are we doing with the authority that God has given us. This heart gives Almighty
Father His place and glory as God.
It relies on Him alone letting God be God. The perfect heart will have no other
confidence or desire, only a longing for Almighty Father. We dishonor Almighty
Father by limiting Him. Let us honor God, by yielding to Him as God and yielding
to His perfect will He has for us and expect from Him what is beyond all our
expectations. The only way one can
give glory to the Creator is becoming the person He intended us to be.
The time is short and Jesus will be back soon.
Let us put our faith and expectations on
things that can be taken to heaven
with us, our relationship with Jesus, and our family and friends.
Most people
have a desire to do well but how can you tell a good thing from a God thing.
Some keys to look for: Is this event or action lifting up man (yourself
included) or God? God will never
glorify the flesh or a person. Is this event or action building up your pride or
another's pride? Did God provide the
empowerment for the action? God will
provide the empowerment for any task He desires you to do.
If it is boldness we need, He will provide that too. We must be willing
to put down our shyness, which is really, a focus on ones shortcomings and
self-centeredness. Which can be
viewed as an insult to the Creator.
The Lord
shared some insights into the sin of pride with me: Pride of oneself leads to
judging, criticizing, envy, creates rebellion in attempts to discipline, and
opens the door for Satan to come into your heart. Do not have pride of oneself,
instead have compassion for others. Pride will rob many a man of the rich
heavenly treasures. Pray to the
Father to exchange pride of oneself for compassion for others.
As a young
Christian I allow Satan to work through me to hurt others Christians.
After the realization, it made me pray to the Lord, never to be a tool
for Satan again. Satan would love to
see you out of the love with someone, so he could work his evil in that
relationship.
For where envy and self-seeking exist, confusion
and every evil thing are there. (James
3:16) God is love; never give up your love for someone, because you remove God
from the relationship. Where there
is love, there is God, and where there is God, there is God's power to change
and transform, walk in love, walk with God.
Love does not envy; love does not parade itself, is not puffed up; does
not behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked, thinks no evil; does
not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoice in the truth; bears all things, believes
all things, hopes all things, endures all things.
How important is it to walk in love?
How important is it to keep darkness and evil out of your life?
... God is light and in Him is no
darkness at all (1John 1:5) Confusion is not of God, and if you are confused
you need to claim the blood of Jesus upon your mind.
Something confusion is the result of you trying to serve two masters,
Jesus and self. You can remove
"self" from the problem, look at the situation with the eyes of love, how can I
love God and others by this. Now you
are removing the darkness and shining the light on the situation.
If none of the above works bind Satan in Jesus name from interfering with
your thinking and don’t proceed until you have the peace of God.
May the
peace and grace of Almighty God the Father and Lord Jesus always be with you?
I pray you might find life eternal with the Heavenly Father.
I pray you might find a good Church, for there is strength and support in
other believers. I pray that this
brings you closer to Jesus. There is
strength in the Word of God, faithfully read your Bible each day.
God will never give up on you. If you have once tasted the goodness of
God, but let this world steal the joy of the Lord, it is not too late to run
back to your first love, Lord Jesus. Pray to have a greater love than at the
beginning because the Satan must pay back seven times what he has stolen from
you. Ask this in Jesus' might name Amen.
Palms 100: Enter His gates with
thanksgiving and His courts with praise; give thanks to Him and praise His name.
“Return backsliding Israel, says the Lord; I will
not cause My anger to fall on you. For I am merciful, say the Lord; I will not
remain angry forever and v14 ... for I am married to you. (Jeremiah 3:12) If you have left your first love Jesus,
return now, His arms are open to you, return now before Jesus returns for His
bride and the door is shut. Lord Jesus has the only love that truly satisfies
the heart, He will fill you to overflowing if you let Him.
Let go of self and let Jesus have your heart and thoughts.
He brings such treasures with Him, His righteousness, His love, His
peace, and His joy.
I can’t
serve the Lord with one hand anymore, the end times demand both hands, and not
to make progress is to fall behind.
Accepting Jesus is just the first step in a long journey to perfection, each
step is seasoned with the love of the Lord Jesus.
Jesus is coming back soon, will you be the good servant, who upon His
return is busy working at the given task assigned to you.
The more
God-conscious I become, the less self-conscious I will be and the more the Lord
can work through me. As I marveled
at Holy Spirit one day, saying you never change, you have been teaching your
children for around 2000 years, inside their hearts, and you still have patience
and are very kind. Now that's a
miracle, because if I'm around a person who is down and out, I tend to become
the same over a period of time, but not Jesus.
He changes not, because He is in the Father and the Father is in Him.
Almighty Father is the center, He changes not, when I am in Jesus Christ
and He in me always, and then I will change not, regardless of the
circumstances. The earth should
revolve around the Son.
The anointing of God is God on human flesh.
The Holy Spirit dwells within us, and the Holy Spirit hovers over us.
As a body of believers we must come together in one accord not just once
or twice a week, but united in prayer and belief constantly abiding in His
Presence daily.
For through Him we both have access by
one Spirit to the Father. Now,
therefore, you are no longer strangers and foreigners, but fellow citizens with
the saints and members of the household of God, having been built on the
foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ Himself being the chief
cornerstone, in whom the whole building, being fitted together for a dwelling
place of God in the Spirit. (Ephesians 3:18-22)
When we meet together as a body, we
increase the size of the temple; each member brings a measure of the Spirit of
God. Jesus is coming back for a
glorious church.
The church has been described as the body of Christ.
As the body of Christ we need to move and operate in one accord, this is
only possible, if we all stay in the presence of God through the Holy Spirit and
we are obedient to the Holy Spirit.
I have seen God work wonders when His children obey Him and follow His guidance.
When this happens there is generally someone at the receiving point
saying “thank you.” God wants to
love and bless each one of us, and He works through us.
We are blessed to have Jesus as Lord and Savior.
God works at your own pace.
When you conquer self, you can enter into the rest of the Lord and put
your life on the altar. We cease
from our plans and obey Lord Jesus; we function from the heart and not the head,
having faith in His knowledge and understanding. Always checking our hearts and
motives keeping them pure. The best
way to start and finish a journey is one step at a time, staying in love with
Lord God Almighty. Jesus said if you
love me you would keep My commandments.
Jesus operates from His love of the body of Christ.
The greatest love someone can have for another is proven by their
willingness to suffer for the one they love.
Challenge yourself to live by the Spirit of God, be
forever conscience of His Presence.
When we truly believe that God has unconditional love for us, regardless of our
past we enter into His rest. When we
realize the work and results belong to Jesus Christ, our task is to be obedient.
We enter into His rest. When we stop
fighting a dead self, and believe we are created in Christ Jesus, we rest in His
love. Jesus Christ is our righteousness.
We cannot become more righteous, when God forgives, He forgets.
We will stand before the judgment seat of Christ one day. Jesus Christ by
His blood has saved us from hell.
Now Jesus will ask how much of what you did was for “self” and how much was for
Me? What did you do with the gifts
and callings I gave you? God the
Father see us through the blood of Jesus, as righteous sons and daughters.
Jesus will judge us on how much did we love?
Let Jesus live through you today.
There is a world out there that needs Him.

For the
love of money is a root of all kinds of evil, for which some have strayed from
the faith in their greediness, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.
But you, O man of God, flee these things and pursue righteousness,
godliness, faith, love, patience, gentleness.
(1 Timothy 6:10-11) I had an
experience in which, a thought entered my mind which was, "Believe me to have so
and so give you a tape, you have been sowing seed" well at first, self was
there, yeah, that's right. But the
Holy Spirit, rose up and spoke to my heart, "that is covetous". It is fine to
believe the Lord for something, like your clothes lasting longer or your food
stretching, but to believe that a certain person will give you something to meet
a need is wrong. When you target a
person to meet your need that is witchcraft.
Always look to God and not to a man and never use God’s anointing for
personal gain. Satan used God’s
anointing to draw other angels to himself.
God’s anointing is to be used for God’s kingdom and to draw people to
Jesus, not to oneself.
